Derank shield?
I've lost 34 games basically in a row with a few wins here and there on bronze 4 0 lp, however I have failed to derank. Any clue as to why this is happening? Really don't want to derank but i think its coming

MagicFlyingLlama1 votesTo hazard a guess; because the rank system is fucked, and you are a Bronze with the ambition of an Iron IV and the MMR of a Plat II.
It goes the other way, if your MMR is absurdly different from your rank, you can skip entire divisions.
Argent Wolf1 votesYou're blocked from deranking in lower ranks, but if you lose enough games, you'll get a warning that you're within a few of games of de-ranking if you don't win.
