Baron power level (Way too easy to do)

In past games I have been feeling that Baron lessened in significance and it is a much easier objective to do than before. With the introduction of the new Bloodrazor dealing %dmg, the Mountain Drake buff, Black Cleaver and even Kindred being a very popular jungler, right now it feels like Baron dies in less than 10 seconds. Even at 25 minutes when it should be a high risk high reward objective. When a team decides to take the worm down and have the proper vision control it feels like the other team has no time to react. Especially now that games are shorter with much larger snowball potential than in past seasons a great way to turn a game around is to capitalize on a poorly executed Baron call from the enemy team. Now it feels almost without risk to take down Nashor when the enemy team is still alive and kicking. To make Baron stand out as the Big Boss of the Rift some more resistance/health would be a great way to emphasize its status.

I agree. Right now the Elder Drake is way harder to kill.

But does less damage and doesn't shred resists. Baron is a risky choice when enemies are alive. So making it tankier won't do much unless its earlier in the game, where they can respawn and contest... Or if you are trying to prevent sneaking Baron, which seems like something that would be nice to prevent later in the game when lanes are pushed.

Baron Vs Elder drag Elder dragon is absurdly tanky and takes a very long time to do Baron is not the tankiest but is so dangerous to do especially if the enemy team has a mage

I think it's the mountain drakes that are making it much easier to do now.

Kayle can solo Elder Drake but not Baron. However I do think Baron needs to be tankier because if someone tanks baron for Kayle she will melt it.

I'd rather go for a baron than elder dragon anyway while enemies are on the map because it can be killed much, much faster than the elder drag. I can't tell you how many times I've lost a game because we've been aced fighting for an elder drag. The minute plus death timers are painful lol.

baron does WAY more damage than elder. Baron gives the enemies less time to react but if they do react quickly you're more likely to die at baron than at elder dragon. At elder dragon noone loses much health while doing it so the contesting team doesn't have the health advantage like they would with baron.

Udyr can solo drag easy by 8 mins...

So many can solo dragon. This thread is about baron now. How is this relevant?

Kindred's ability to take Baron has already been nerfed; Bloodrazor junglers aren't picked often. Cleaver is honestly not a problem in my opinion. The funny thing is that before Sated Devourer was removed, there was a significantly larger pool of champions that could solo baron than there is now. The only real problem is, like you said, Mountain Drake, but the chance of it not spawning is significant enough to keep it the way it is.

You should see how fast heimer melts barron.

You shouldn't have to "react" to them taking Baron. You should be prepared for it. Kindred is a rather predictable champion, and as with any other fotm champion you need to adjust to playing against her. Making Baron stronger just because of champions like Kindred, Jax and co. (the Bloodrazor gang) is unfair towards other champions (the Cinderhulk gang).

Bloodrazor is a terrible item and Baron's MR and armor cannot be reduced.

But yes, Baron does need significant buffs. It's sad that the only consideration about whether or not a team should do Baron is the likelihood of the other team stealing it.

The more you climb the ladder the faster does baron fall

Baron in Diamond 1 dies in around 5-6 seconds
