Why am I being matched with a feeder troll I just reported moments ago?

GGEazzy··31 votes·14,659 views

Why am I being qued up in the same team, as someone who I just had to report because they intentionally fed the enemy team by running into them, getting himself killed, stealing the jungler farm, flashing around whenever possible, joking about it, refusing to surrender and ruin the game for his other teammates? Why am I forced to be the one who gets punished with a que lockout? Why am I still put in the same que as such a player? Why are the "innocent" players constantly punished for having to deal with such people, that should be locked out from the public ques, to have their own special place to gather up and mess with each other, instead of wasting people`s time, who actually have the intention to at least TRY to win when they que up? Why is it when I call someone out on their trolling and feeding, that it is everyone else that is at fault, other than the actual "player" who has nothing better to do with his time, than to be an annoyace to his other teammates? Why is it that this game still does not have an automatic (ban)punish system, once a player dies within second after second once he respawns and goes to kill himself into the enemy team again? You have a "flame detector" filter, but still no intentional feed filter? Why?

I reported an account for getting Elo Boosted by support ticket, really clear case

Jhin main account, has Jhin in the name, Silver 4, takes flash on F 250 games of Jhin, 52% w/r

Suddenly he takes flash on D and has a 90% w/r Kha'Zix, his rank rockets to gold 4 in a day

The account is still playing today

Oh yeah I did a similar report lmao , about someone who mains adc and suddenly became a Shen one trick that puts flash on F

flash is not a good indicator. there are people who go F on D when laning and flash on F when going jungle and the opposite . so its not really a good indicator

It's not the only indicator , I mentioned that he was an adc main with Low winrate and suddenly started playing Shen and had really high winrate and doesn't play Jungle

I do this. My flash is always on F except when I take smite. Flash goes on D when I take smite.

Hi im 121 votes

the real question is why do eloboosters still switch the keys, I always just change the keybindings if someone has em the wrong way around.

Asijská Exotika 1 votes

He buys a lot of RP so they won't ban him. There are many things Rito close eyes on if you have rich RP purchase record. I would provide you evidence if Mods would not ban me for that.

because riot games punishment philosophy is dogshit.

Saezio3 votes

When you meet a person like that don't requeue instantly. Even if they get banned it takes 20 minutes and 1 more game sometimes. I know it's a perfect solution, but it's easy enough to follow. Just go make a coffee/smoke a cig/piss and be back in 3 mins you won't even notice. And the tilt will also be less.

lAmSovereign2 votes

haha im sure ive been reported countless times for feeding/afk/anything else not involving talking. I've never even been chat banned.

Bring me my belt2 votes

I have been chat banned for saying f***wit yesterday, yet our jg was inting, mid laner was inting. I afk'd for 10 minutes of the game because I had enough and no one wanted to ff. Maybe back seat gaming should be a reportable offence, I told the guy mid to worry about him self multiple times before I called him what I did but yunno, Riot don't care unless they get money in their pocket :)

BattalionX3 votes

So you flammed, spammed surrender and then afk'd for 10 minutes and you somehow think you have the right to whine here for the chat ban? OK.

lAmSovereign1 votes

just dont flame. It's that easy.

couple years ago, i sent in several tickets about a kled jg 1trick who would pick nunu and grief if the person who was assigned jungle didn't comply with his elo terrorism

i gave up after about a week of watching his match history sprinkled with 0/10/0 cleanse/smite nunu games. bookmarked this op.gg. was still playing after a year. rito james™ only cares about meanwords™

Because you can go 1/10 many times and not get banned as long as you try? But get insta banned if you question someone on their actions. Telling a person in-game to "stop feeding" is also a ban. I'm talking from experience :'D

Yeeaahhh that's not how it works. But sure.

Saezio2 votes

The first part of his comment is correct. If you try, even if you are piss poor dogshit you can't get banned.

Lazy Grandpa1 votes

hah i very much doubt that, try to keep that going for a while. i don't want to know howmany people have reported me for picking offmeta, for feeding, for being abandoned by the team, for not teamfighting as a tryndamere, etcetc. list goes on and on. also there's this new thing called soft-inting apparently, because there is also a way to not really int, but still kinda int. r%%%%%ed shit like that will eventually get you banned. all you need is enough reports.

now imagine being piss poor dogshit, this means you always lose lane probrably and then have insane x/xx/x scores almost everygame. or god forbid you write something that Buddha might barely find toxic and you'd be at risk already. or replying to actually toxic people... never tell those to fuck off

idk if this system dumps your reports after a long time as reports from 2-3 years ago should never be valid anymore, but once the number get high enough i dont doubt for a second it would eventually flag you for a ban. the game would just have to be bad enough.

look at that hashinshin's victor game. dude obviously wasn't inting, yet got 2 week banned anyway. that video alone should just be proof that having a really bad game even while tryharding can get you banned very easily

Saezio1 votes

Nope. Invalid reports don't matter at all. Even if you have a million of them, if they are invalid it's the same as having zero. There were cleanse ghost nunus inting in Dom's games that didn't get banned. And a poppy too.

Toxicity is a completely different matter. It is easy as fuck to police chat, compared to in game actions.

I am not familiar with hashinshin's ban. He was banned for intentionally feeding? Are you 100% sure about that?

i mean i know this too, but what the system considers valid or invalid nobody knows. i think it learns as it does it's job too, so things can go wrong aswell.

perhaps, but you know what i meant. what is toxic to you, might not be that toxic to me. i've seen things i don't consider toxic being banned, and consequently in their reform ticket game 1/2/3.

he went something ridiculous like 0/18 or something. basically vs riven challenger riven main smurfing in diamond, whilst being hardcamped. basically the enemy team tried very hard to get him killed. and obviously he picked a champion first time, doesn't really know how to go about it after getting destroyed so hard. ultimately even though he was tilted as hell, he still tried to win. banned for 2 weeks anyway. i'm pretty sure that was a ban for feeding.

at the time it was a controversial topic. you can look it up, the threads are an interesting read if you have nothing to do.

Saezio1 votes

I love seeing hashinshin being humiliated so I will try to find that game. The dude always making excuses and never says that he simply isn't a very good player.

Lazy Grandpa1 votes

have fun with that man. i like hashinshin though, i can feel his pain when he complains about certain stuff. and he's a pretty good player lol. sometimes he admits he fucked up, or he just says he shouldn't have done that. but he doesn't do it often no :P

also sometimes i think that players make it intentionally difficult for hashinshin both enemy and allies

Well.. yeah? If you're a bad player who's really trying eventually you'll reach the level of other bad players and be matched with them. You can't, or rather shouldn't, ban someone because they're bad at a game.

But anyway I was mostly addressing his claim of "stop feeding" is a ban. I've said it a lot of times, followed by advice more relevant than stop feeding, and never been chat restricted.

Saezio1 votes

IDK because I haven't been chat restricted or anything. So maybe if you have already had a 14 day ban then "stop feeding" can lead to a perma because you are already on thin ice?

No, stop feeding is a little rude, but that's not what trips the system. It looks for certain keywords, or something similar (you can accidentally trip the system if you're speaking another language that has, say, the n-word in one of its words). The only time a human is looking over it is if you contest the ban, and even then stop feeding isn't going to get you banned.

Saying, "stop feeding you inbred piece of sh** oh my god will you do me a favor and bash ur head with the keyboard it'll benefit the team way more u fcking monkey" will. I've gotten an instant feedback report on that person pretty quickly.

Saezio1 votes

What about saying "stop feeding" like 20 times in a match?

Yeah.. kind is? Happened to me many many times and i've been a feeder going into the double digits many many times without anything happening? Plus going based off what support has told me.... While going based off what has happened to me.... I mean how is that not how it works?

you sure that's a fact? lol common sense wise of course not but again you sure that's a fact lol..?

Frikgeek1 votes

No, just saying "stop feeding" can't get you banned. However it's one of the most useless and counterproductive statements you can make. Either the person is intentionally feeding to spite someone or just to fuck around and you telling them to stop just shows them that you're getting upset which is exactly what they want. Or the person isn't doing it intentionally and is getting snowballed on and you telling them to stop as if they're doing it on purpose will just anger them and tilt them even harder. So if you're trying to win you should never use that phrase.

Jennifer4202 votes

100% not cause the game is dying and low on players so you get matched with the same people again. thats 100% not the case!!!

Madjack011 votes

Reporting someone will not protect you from playing with that player again. As far as I know it never has and never should because people would just abuse it.

It might be a good middle solution to create temporary protection for maybe an hour or two where you accept the longer queue time (if applicable).

Edit: Wrong discussion, but oh well you got the notification.

Calling out a person for whining like someone stole their kit-kat is not being baby. It's doing them a favor. I can tell from thousands of miles away OP needs more negative reinforcement in their life. I am forwarding a message from most of society saying, "wake the hell up we don't care how you feel". I am but a simple human being explaining that life isn't fair, not everyone will be nice, and not everyone needs to act nice. Emotional needs and the burden of them should not need to be carried by others no matter how 'humane' we make it out to be in modern society. If awakenings and interventions were all hypocrisy and nothing else nobody would ever change. You have zero power whatsoever to demand compassion or benevolence from ANYONE, just like I can't force OP to accept reality.

This is the internet, arguments never go anywhere in this medium, it's a joke to take anything seriously. The sooner OP wakes up and realizes that the world doesn't cater to their feelings the less bitching will exist around us.

"Intellectual void of one's arguments" Said on a damn forum for a game that entices weeaboos of all places. Jesus Christ... This community is already laughed at by the rest of society. Stop trying to turn this crap hole into a safe space.

If a person throws a fit over a word, AND they don't move on with their life, their parents did a damn pathetic job of raising someone for the real world.

This is all hypocrisy right? Well, lets just erase the word "criticism" from the dictionary then since no input, discussions, advice, or disagreements should ever be aloud. What a stupid thing to say. Anyone can toss the redundant word "hypocrisy" around because we are all inherently hypocrites anyways. I say people will ALWAYS say bad things, OP will NEVER stop all players from saying bad things, who is more in touch with reality here? Hmm?

Real reason is because high elo players who know about 2/3 of all the people they play with (D1+) would abuse the system by reporting or blocking certain players, therefore "rigging" the system. Imagine if every high elo player reported T1 or Tarzaned (skilled "toxic" players); then no one would ever play with them and they would literally never get into a game. A system that's fair is a system that isn't fair for everyone all the time. That's every single rule, regulation, and law ever made.

So instead of handling this unique class of abuse that is only relevant to the top few percent of the playerbase, we're all stuck dealing with trolls because god fucking forbid that solutions are tailored to the problems.

Typical fucking riot.

Wen2941 votes

It's a problem at every elo tbh, but just of a different kind. People would have a real incentive to report people that did not perform up to their standard, regardless of toxicity of said person. Since the ban system itself learns from report behaviour, we would probably end up with even less accurate bans.

"They're just having a bad game."

But really, Rito simply does not care about victims of trolls. Not even compensation on accounts of "wE'Re tRyINg OuR bEsT tO mAkE iT sO iT cAn'T bE AbUseD!"(Which isn't even hard)

i remember one time i got queued up with a player 5 times who explicitly said in pre game lobby "this player (me) is on my block list" and they said it each and every time. it was honestly annoying.

The Kombinator1 votes

Man i seriously need that meme format. It would be hillarious these days. Let's review the banned people today.

  1. Player. He spends his 5 minute ban after ragequiting 20 games in a row.
  2. Player. 2 hour ban for int feeding. Match history suggest he did it 293 times so far. We thinking about increasing his punishment to 2 hour 15 minutes.
  3. Player. He got a lifetime ban. Wrote "kys" into chat. Once.
