Is it just me or does riot seem greedy with the new rune page system

They get rid of the free masteries leaving it so that you have 5 basic preset version rune pages and the base 2 free rune pages that are customisable. making it so unless you've previously bought rune pages you're stuck with changing those 2 around every few games for the champions you play, unless you save up for rune pages with BE/new IP which btw, rune pages are the most expensive thing excluding champions. or give riot more money. it just seems a little bull**** to me, as it leaves some people who have multiple different style masteries for different play styles, screwed over. and to back up I've had several friends saying they don't even want to bother learning the new runes or playing league this season as they are limited in their expansion of rune pages. just seems like to me Riot wants us throwing more money at them for runes by cutting out masteries.

I know I'm no expert opinion or hell, even a well informed opinion, but it just seems greedy to me. i mean if you had previously bought rune pages don't you get free skins now as well?

rune pages give you 1500 blue essences, not really greedy if you got your moneys worth from using those rune pages for over a (multiply) season

Lol? Do you realize you can Edit your entire page now in Champselect unlike runes? AKA: You dont need more than 1 Runpage from game one to Challenger Rank#1!

Everything beyond the second Page is pure luxury.

yey, if my crappy laptop can actually load the rune page through its animations, it does of course, but i normally lose 20 seconds for setting them up.

Did you already enable the "toaster"-mode?

I've bought two rune pages with IP. They're expensive, but worth it. The fact that we're getting premade rune pages and the ability to change them during champ select should reduce the need for more, although i'll probably still ending up buying at least one more.
