Bring back bans in ARAM

Ill never understand this, ARAM is a game never meant to be truly balanced or fair and its fun lies in the luck of the draw and the more relaxed thought free gameplay you engage in. however we can all agree that some champs in ARAM are simply punishment of our hubris for thinking we deserve to have fun (looking at you teemo) some of us remember not so long ago when Riot cared about our sanity and added bans in, i wont lie, i dont think ive ever been happier, it brought ARAM from a game mode i played now and again to something id play more then summoners rift, especially if i had a bad game or simply didnt want to have one, it brought aram from a ok game mode to kill time with friends to easily one of the most enjoyable experiences i could have in LoL. All of a sudden those Champs that are just instant wins, or even if you win feel like losses, with just a click of a button you could take out and make the game more balanced and simply more bearable, with 150~ Champs in the game at no point is 10 missing (assuming no double bans) truly limiting any experience to any degree, it simply helps remove the frustration from the game mode thats supposed to be there for fun anyway. Riot removed these bans saying something along the lines of "we don't like how the bans are constricting the play styles and variety on the howling abyss so we decided to remove them" i just cant follow this logic at all, would that not also apply to summoners rift? how does 10/150 (a 6.6%) champ pool reduction affect anything other then letting players at their own tiers, ban who is strongest against them at their level, something riot has always had a extremely hard time balancing, the pro and casual communities of this game, since some champs simply arnt a problem at one end and cant be stopped at the other, is this not why we have bans?

At the end of the day, what im hoping to do is raise a thoughtful discussion and see if anyone can help spread some light on this issue and see if i can understand the thought process, id hopefully like to start a petition of sorts, and would like to see if i cant get enough people to get Riot to see this and think about putting the bans back in, everyone i have ever talked to wants them back so i'm curious to see what everyone else here thinks, let me know down below

TLDR:** Vote me up for a petition to bring bans back to ARAM or at least talk about it with me below**

Please no. When bans were temporarily enabled in ARAM back in April, the champ select dodges were driving me nuts. People kept dodging because they saw that champs that they weren't even guaranteed to get were banned. 15 minutes to get through a single champ select phase was not fun.

Bring back bans AND unlock all champs so aram accounts, or those with nothing but champs that stop in aram as a coincidence, can't ban out their bad champs and further restrict their pools to supreme pickings

It’s not suppose to have bans, it’s a casual game mode and is meant to have fun with cool builds or just messing around, if you can’t handle some champions being there occasionally then just don’t play it

No. Bans are stupid. The same fun champs get banned over and over and then you never get to play them. Instead why don't you focus at getting better at ARAM so certain strong champs don't impact you as badly. Or just go play ranked if you want bans.

I'm fine with bans but am more in the camp of "Remove the Bench."

The Bench is what allows people to form perfect or poke heavy comps in the first place. The other day I rolled twice got 2 bad picks so just took the one first rolled. There's no risk.

Remove bench and see the amount of poke heavy comps reduce.

"restricting playstyles"

I see all of the same champions every game, and everyone turtles cause they're too bad to engage.

Noooo bans, bans just added so much more time to the overall game between dodges and ban phase. It really wouldn't stop anything, like akali is still gonna have +18% dmg and take what like 12% less damage?? with the new presence of mind change she's gonna just be godly... I agree having a 5v5 melee all out brawl IS fun but adding ban's won't force people to play those champions, you are still going to have people dodging because they got someone they don't know how to use and don't want to learn a new champion etc...

you can give a person something but you cannot expect them to take it. in other words you can add bans but there will be players (such as I) who will not ban any champion period. so would you rather have up to 10 bans or no bans at all? keep in mind that while it may not happen it is possible for no champs to be banned even when bans are an option. oh look at that word. option. bans are optional. there is no rule enforcing bans and if a player chooses to not ban anyone then you're gonna have to either deal with it or dodge and wait for a team who will ban champs. then there are some players who will troll ban by banning a weak ass or forgotten champion glances at Corki so in short, if bans returned (which they better not) there is nothing preventing a player from not banning any champion regardless of how stupid broken they are, ARAM or otherwise.
