League Placement Games

I recently played my placement games for this season and after 7 pretty good wins and 3 losses, I was placed in bronze 5. This happened to me last season as well and iI am curious if the placement system is just random at this point because this just feels ridiculous how does the league placement system work. Does it matter how hard I try in them anymore or is it just a formality, because I feel really unaccoplished after 7 wins and i shouldn't. If anyone has any information about how it works if you could let me know that would be great. Thanks. If anyone else has had this happen to them post it here.

Your almost always guaranteed to get placed lower than where you were. If you are s4- you are looking at b4-5 always if you solo q. Remember all diamonds master and challenger are placed in plat at the start. Plats are gold and gold are silver etc..
