Hey, I am so tired of playing solo/duo with 3-4 random teammates, and if they have a bad game, the game is often lost. The game is old and we are getting older too, many of my friends have moved on. I truly loved playing 3v3 ranked with my friends, and I would love to have it back. plase riot bring back 3v3. and add 1v1 and 2v2. <3

Where they gonna get money from 1v1 and 2v2 and how they will make profit out of it? if you come up with these answers maybe they can make it.

Why wouldn't they make money from it? it would literally cost them nothing to bring back 3v3.

  1. time spent getting the mode back to running
  2. time spent fixing any bugs that result just from having a running game mode
  3. time spent balancing for new content added to the game
  4. costs (monetary and spacial) of having the servers needed to run an additional game mode that gets practically no play

Admitting that RIOT staff are lazy and unmotivated

4. costs (monetary and spacial) of having the servers needed to run an additional game mode that gets practically no play

Admitting that RIOT are greedy Also when has costs ever been an issue for RIOT? They can´t afford servers but they can afford to hire people like Graham McNeil to write the narrative?

.......what the hell are you even saying?

The first guy asked “what costs are there?”. I listed all the costs that are associated with it.

If you don’t make anything back from the result of those actions, you are losing money. That is not how you run a business.

Riot doesn’t get to hire people like Graham McNeil by leaving things running that no one uses.

I'm pretty sure that deleting half your content is not a good way to run a business either. RIOT staff was too lazy to actually try to improve 3v3 so they just left it in alpha state for 5 years and acted surprised when it got practically no play

Everything that they did for it got no traction whatsoever. What company would keep putting resources on it if it gets no results whatsoever. If anything they should have pull the plug sooner on TT.

Check the patch history for Twisted Treeline. Twisted Treeline was an unpopular mode because RIOT didn't put ANY resources into it. If they actually updated it constantly and it was still unpopular, I would understand why it was removed. But instead they would just poke it with a stick every 3-5 years hoping for improvement.

Every single thing they did for it achieved nothing. They remade the map, they were putting resources to it for a bit. Nothing came from it. Why would you keep putting resources when it is achieving nothing. Why would you keep doing something when no results are showing? Please answer me that. There was no point in putting more resources to it. They just let it rot because no matter what they did nothing changed. Even the so called "TT mains" barely cared for the mode itself. Don't come and blame riot when it's own playerbase didn't care for it.

They didn't do anything. A single TFT update gets more resources than Twisted Treeline ever did

Blaming the playerbase instead of RIOT. Stop licking RIOT's ass

wow... a company wanting to make money! this is so unheard of. Please comeback when you have the smallest of ideas of how companies are run in reality

They have money for eternals, they have money to make 5 different crap games, they have money for skins/chromas, they have money for esports.

If they have money/resources for the former then they have money/resources for more game modes, simple logic=More game modes= more player retention (or do you believe we should have less players?). Should we drop TFT and ARAM and let SR carry the game? How many players will you lose?

Bring back Nexus Blitz.

ARAM is just a simplified SR clone. Just like most the their "rotating game Modes" from before. It lets them double-dip on labor.

TFT has been incredibly popular. Though little surprise since proof of concept was already established by a major competitor. (>_>)

Also keep in mind that League is free-to-play. So more player retention doesn't necessarily equate to more profit. It is entirely possible that the expenditures to retain a game mode are greater than that specific player base makes them.
