A suggestion for new Katarina

Hello, guys. I know new kata has been out for only a very short time, so i'm not here to say "she's bad" or "she's OP" or anything like that. Personally, i like her rework. I don't know yet how effective she can be... for some aspect she feels stronger, but for others she seems a bit easy to read. But i'm not here to talk about balance: i think ideas comes first, and then you balance things around the concept you wanted to create, and i like the ideas behind new kata. However, there is one thing: since she was in PBE, i think that the one aspect that was most discussed was about how her Q's dagger always lands in a fixed spot. Someone think it's too far, someone say that way it's too easy to avoid. Of course, you have some control over it by choosing your target, but many would have liked a way to have more control over it.

And here comes my idea, which is to apply to kata's q the same mechanism they introduced for her E. If i'm not wrong, new kata's E is different from the old one because (other than the cast time) instead of targeting an opponent and blinking behind him, you target the point where you want to shunpo to, and if there is a valid target (ally or enemy unit) within a certain range, then the skill activates, otherwise it doesn't. So i say: do the same thing with her Q. Instead of targeting an enemy unit, you target the point where you want your dagger to land. If there is a valid target within a certain range (250-300?) then the skill activates, hit that enemy, bounces like normal and lands where you wanted it to. What if there are multiple enemies within the range? just give it a priority order, like enemy champions first, then closest units or something like that.

This way you have more ways to act, altough you have to be good to decide what's the best place for your dagger, and your opponent still have time to react during the time it takes for the dagger to land. Please notice that i'm not saying this because i want kata to be buffed: i don't know exactly how strong she is now, and i don't know how strong would she be with thise change. However, Riot can balance things later by changing some numbers, i think. So i'm not here to discuss if she is or would be too strong or too weak, but to discuss about this idea and what do you guys think of it.

TL;DR: How would it be if riot changed her Q so that instead of choosing the first target you choose the dagger's landing point, and then the skill activates if there are valid targets within a certain range from that point?
