So has anyone else noticed that with this new patch that kiting with Kalista has become almost impossible? Just tried 3 games and once I got my attack speed up with just one item I couldn't kite to save my life. (No pun intended) Kalista just seemed to stand the regardless of how quickly I clicked. This was no the case before the new patch. Just wondered if anyone else was suffering from this problem as well?
Fadedpf1 votesKalista is support reliant, her all in is horrible and building straight attack speed is good for kiting but makes your damage horrible. You need IE to even do anything and you must get free poke and disengage as much as possible or youre pretty much gonna die for the rest of your life. Riot hates making ADC's strong and Kalista is really weak atm.. her rend is her only strength
Spuddd1 votesYeah that's pretty standard for Kalista. I have learned how to play her pretty well, but with this patch it seems as if her kiting abilities have become unresponsive as a whole. No matter how fast I click she just stands still instead of moving around in between attacks.
LongFur Fox1 votesThe thing that changed which most people seem to forget is that riot added a "grace" period right after she begins attacking where you can change your target. This results in two fast clicks starting an attack and then redirecting that attack (possibly to the same minion or in case you clicked on the ground, nothing). If you wait a bit with the next click it should be ok. I am not too fond of the change myself due to it being hard to learn the timing of the grace period especially when she gets some attack speed.
