The problems with league as I see it.

A lot of champions are fundamentally broken, In that when they are viable they are incredibly unfun to play against, and when they aren't they are incredibly unfun to play.

It almost feels like this game wasn't designed around having a pvp element in it, like that was a secondary feature, and the primary feature was some sort of co-op game. Maybe the real mode was co-op vs ai the whole time, and pvp is just a secondary feature.

It's less intentional and more champ designers keep falling into the same pitfall over and over again.

The big one being, 'if a champ can hard-counter, they can't have high generalist power otherwise they totally invalidate whole classes of champs when they're good.'

These Azir two Kalista are probably the most well known examples.

You'd think after making nearly 150 champions they'd be able to recognize a kit that has the potential to be toxic before it's released.

With that said, you can add Fiora to that list. The way her kit is set up, she will always be God tier or nerfed into uselessness.

even older designs hold the problem I see. at this point I don't even know if riot can fix the problem.

Yes, because ever new player should come to the game with deep understanding, if not mastery, of the many gameplay concepts and task a player should be monitoring. Screw off. Im tired of being shitted on for not being great.

Or maybe I was alluding to the part where they actually influence the games balance by being one of the few vocal outlets for players to communicate to rioters. Fortunately, riot seems to concentrate more on the pro scene but just the fact that gameplay and bronze has any influence at all is concerning. If I had a problem with low elos just existing I wouldn't have specified gameplay.

Arent most players bronze or silver though? Why shouldnt riot balance for a large section of their player base, that's also no doubt a large section of income on skins, to their skill level? Yes you can design champs for higher elo, but shouldnt majority be balanced for the largest group of players?

Ive only been playing a few months, but ive already dropped 40 bucks on skins and unlocking one champ. Why shouldnt it be balanced for me as well?

And also, i also apologize for that first post. Ive started rank with the preseason placements, and tired of being flamed for making mistakes.

This argument is just plain flawed, I don't know why it is so popular. Many low elo players don't even play champions to half their potential (at least for the mechanically intensive champions) so the balancing would be extremely skewed in favour of champions that are harder to learn and against easy champions. This in turn would completely fuck over challenger elo because they play champions to near maximum potential and thus the power discrepancy between champions will be black and white. You can climb out of low elo simply by getting better at the game, completely regardless of how the game is balanced. Challenger players, on the other hand, cannot get better (very marginally better) so balance is the determining factor of winning up there. And if riot listened to even half the suggestions made on these boards, this game would be exponentially worse across all elos.

I've heard that before a couple years ago, that they're making characters for an entirely different gameplay style, and trying to force them into pvp anyway.
