[SUGGESTION] Disable unwanted champions

Hello All!

In the recent year a lot of champions gone through drastic changes, for better or worse. I am not here to judge, but one thing is for sure: I cannot play some of my them as I used to. I know, these changes made some champs viable again, and with the changing of the whole meta, it is a necessity. But the changes sometimes forces us to say goodbye to some of our beloved champs. Or at least that is what we would like to do, except that we cannot. The champions are still coming up in ARAM, and I still have to scroll through them if I want to choose someone for a normal game. It even affects the banning enemy, because the see the whole chapion pool, not the actual viable choises.

I know, there is (or at least was) a way to refound the not used champions, but I dont think that is the sollution here. I have a sentimental connection with my AP Yi, or my good old Soraka. I might even relearn them in the future.

What I would sugest is a "disable champion" button over every champ. To prevent people from abusing it, it should have some restraints. One of them is that you cannot disable free chamions. If you own a champion, and you disabled it, but the weekly champion rotation contains it, then the lock is gone (for the given time at least). This would prevent people from abusing this in ARAM. The second thing is that it should not be free. Let us pay 100 IP or so for deactivating, and the same amount for reactivating a champion. This way we prevented the same abuses that come from refounding champs. And last, but not least. If you disabled a champion it acts just like as you dont own it. It wont appear in the list of possible bans, if you don't have enough active champs you cannot go to certain game modes, and you don't get the extra reroll points.

This is just a suggestion thou, I know that any change like this is way more complicated than just adjusting some stats on a champ, or throwing in a new skin. But if you decide to give it a try, some of us might appreciate it.

But then it'd be too easy to setup ARAM-optimi--

Oh, well then. This idea might be kinda neat. I have a feeling the current client might explode if Riot tried to implement it though. It seems rather niche, but it might be an interesting experiment in the new client.
