Sick and Tired...

Okay. Riot. What's up with how you rank people? I have a friend who plays ONE champion, ONE! That champion is Teemo, and he acts like every freaking Teemo out there. He doesn't listen to pings, he down right ignores them, he swears at people if they try to help. He's never in team fights, he stays top the entire game. He is constantly losing games. It drives me insane the kind of attitude that he has. I play around 100 champions fairly well. My support is really good considering the rank that I'm in. I'm not saying I'm perfect, but more often than not games are won because I feed my ADC like a boss who then goes on to destroy, I secure kills, warding is my life, I communicate with pings (without being annoying, cause that's the worst). I do everything in my power to be the best support that I can be. I am a team player. Teemo player gets ranked higher than me, after losing more than half of his games (4/10 I think is where he ended), and now he thinks he's a god... I win 8/10 games (played support for 6 of them I think) and I get ranked super low. I mean, come on... WTF? Skill-wise, this guys got NOTHING. I destroy him 1v1 all the freaking time, and I give him pointers on how to improve (ex: play more than just Teemo. I'm not kidding guys, if you looked at his history, it's JUST TEEMO) which, of course, he never listens to.

I need to know what's going on. -Eva

(P.S. I'm pretty sure this post is about game play, however if it's not, let me know and I'll move it, thanks.)

Even if you know more champions, you likely know them at a shallower level. Meanwhile, the Teemo player has more experience with different matchups and using their champion in different situations.

As for your rankings after placements, they take into account your ranking in the previous season and the order of the wins (since those determine who you are playing with).

If they were previously a higher rank than you did, then they would likely still end up higher even if they won fewer games.

Unfortunately, they've never ranked before. I understand the quote and what you mean, but unless you see everything I've seen, it's just hard to explain. Thank you for your kindness though ^^

Evangelion was a good anime. Trippy as hell, but good.

I agree! :)

I suggest you split these two topics into different posts.

Will do, thanks :)

your friend sounds like a Riven/Yas/Vayne player

Well. I guess if he only played one of those he'd be good at em. Apparently it's frowned upon to know more than one champ ;) haha

Not, really, ScrapComputer on YouTube has a video explaining the different types of players: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dR6bNMe3yH0 One trick Two trick Jack of all trades. He also lists advantages and disadvantages. It is more advantageous to know more than one champ/lane, because you will be able to adapt to the temp composition. You will also learn how to recognize how the other lanes work in conjunction with the one you are in, and also how to counter pick due to the fact you do not limit yourself to one champ/lane. This also means you'll probably be posting less "x is OP" posts on Gameplay because you know what the weaknesses and strengths of many champs happen to be.

Yeah. Unless the Champ is new, I don't think any of them are "OP". I try very hard to counter the enemies team, and make kind suggestions how to counter, but I've been straight up told that countering doesn't matter and doesn't work... I didn't say anything to that, cause I know it does make a difference, haha.

Thank you for that video! It was interesting to watch and learn :)

Anytime, I may not be ranked, but I looked up videos on how play many aspects of the game, and they all have helped me immensely, but every time I go into ranked, I get stomped into the ground will all the kill lanes and such.
