Hey there I have a question about the placements of this season if anyone can awnser that, I have played in the 2015 season made it to gold and never played the game in 2016 now in this new 2017 season, is my mmr to 0 and I will have to start from the bottom or it will place me back to around where I was ?

Your mmr is definitely not 0, even the lowest members of bronze 5 have non-zero mmr (although the most dedicated failures might be single digit). Starting mmr is 1200 ish, which corresponds to low silver.
I don't remember if it looks back to the last time you played ranked or if it goes by last season, but either way you should expect somewhere around silver.
I dont know what your MMR would be at, but basically even for those that played last season are being placed in a lower rank to start this season. so you can expect to be dropped a bit. how far you drop depends on your placement games
