Meta Picks LETS HAVE FUN IN NORMAL GAMES D:

I know a lot of people have written about this, but I feel like I should include a bit more. I know a lot of people have been feeling that league has been getting boring because of all these meta picks, and how pretty much every game I am faced with the same ad carries and supports in bot lane. It gets a little boring, and even more frustrating after a while. I understand if its a new champion or an updated one (as I have been seeing a lot of garens and darius's being played top and I'm fine with that), I just feel like popular picks either in LCS, or just popular ones have been taking over the game lately.

For the past few weeks in the mid lane I have been seeing pretty much all azir vicktor le blanc and yasuo. Those four have kinda been taking over the mid lane. I think that was the reason I stopped playing mid lane in the first place as it was getting boring playing against the same champions over and over again just because they would beat me every time I wanted to try to play a champ that was off meta and fun for me. And not only that I also have people raging at me for feeding and ask me why I wen't that champion mid if i'm not good at playing him/her (in normals!). I feel like things like that are what is keeping us from going off meta.

For a few months now, I have been deciding what lane to stick with and practice the most, but I still have no clue, as all the lanes are getting boring. It is always the same matchups and same champions I have to play against, and that isn't very fun. Right now I am playing a lot more top lane because of the reworks they made for darius and garen, and I like how people are starting to play them again after only seeing things like riven gnar and maokai. I feel like top lane is the only lane for me right now because there are so much more possibilities for me to try new champions.

I feel like what I really want to say in this, is that don't be a person who likes to play champions that are popular just because they find them op and easy to win with. Isn't the point of a game to have fun? I miss the old days when people would just go weird combos in bot lane like darius support or azir adc. But now all I see are champs like vayne mf and standard popular adcs. DON"T BE AFRAID TO PLAY A CHAMP THAT YOU WANT TO. Of course there will be people who will rage at you and ask you why you are going a weird champ in a certain lane, but first of all, its a normal game and second, you don't want to have to do something over and over again just because it is what other people are doing..

I know I wrote quite a bit, but I really wanted to get this off my back. I have been struggling to chose a lane to stick with because all the lanes have been getting boring with standard picks that are popular in the meta. I want to go back to playing a normal game just for the fun of it and not have it feel like ranked. Lets all get back to playing fun combo bot lanes and off meta picks (IN NORMALS RANKED IS ANOTHER MATTER :'D). So hate if you want to, but this is what I think needs to happen. I don't want league to get boring because of the same champs being played in every game. I only play normals because I want to do something fun, and I don't want to pick champs I don't want to play anymore.

Anyways, hate if you disagree, but this is just what I believe.. . . . .
