Cursed accounts, or a losers pool. such a thing must exist. I have about 7 smurfs, all of which have 80+ winrates, i have no problem winning games, i get good and bad teamates. HOWEVER.
Once i get on my main, every, single, game, the teamates i get are unfathomably bad, stupid, trolling, and so on. Point being, its people who dont want to win, dont have the ability to, or simply just troll.
Why is this happening ONLY on one account? Around same elos for all.

I too have a smurf that I an climbing in and getting much better Match making then my main.
My Main is CONSTANTLY getting AFKer and flat out trolls. Often I will go 15/3 by 20m while my team is all 2/12 The games I get are 100% not possible to carry.
BigFBear1 votesI think it has to do with their weird matchmaking algorithm. For example in season 8 I was Plat 1 with 56% winrate and so I got teammates with a similar winrate. Now in S9 i climbed in the same Elo but then tested a few new item and rune builds. Because of that I dropped on a negative 49% winrate and now I often got teammates with negative winrate too. On the one hand i can understand that the system want to put same skill level together on the other hand it can end in an endless cycle. You have bad luck or a bad day and make a giant losing streak and now you are negative winrate and can't escape it because system match you with bad players all day. On the other hand you can get a giant winning streak and suddenly you find yourself at 60%+ winrate and system match you with other high winrate players who carry you even higher.

like i went from an 50-55% win rate in silver/bronze, but now i am 33% win rate and hard stuck in silver 4.
its may just be the fact that riot made a shit matchmaking system EVEN WORSE and everyone but the top 1% of players are suffering for it.

Serika Zero1 votesThere's a problem with your conclusion. you assume that you and your team are facing some big and powerful demon king boss, that everyone faces. So higher win rate players will win more and the lower ones will lose more.
What you are actually facing is other people, other teams, of various strengths. ai it makes sense that if most of you got negative win rates, the enemy team, also has negative win rates. So, the better player wins.
BigFBear1 votesno i dont say that the smurfs etc are everytime on enemy side they are also on my side. Its pretty even! 50/50 But what does it mean? It means that it doesnt matter what I do... because the game is won or lost by a bad balancing matchmaking. It doesnt matter how good i play when enemy has 2 smuirfs and i have 3 unranked bad players. It doesnt matter how BAD i play when i have the Smurfs on my side. And therefore its just gambling with a 50/50 chance to win or lose. But u cant climb with 50%

On the other account I keep getting matched with silvers in normals. and there's games I can't carry.
So no, it does matter how well you do, because if you are to awful, you can be to hard to carry.

Mullaous1 votesThere's alot of speculation that their matchmaking system is fk'd up and will more frequently match you with players who are climbing when you are climbing. It makes no sense, but I've definitely had an easier time in most games on accounts with high win rates than I do playing on ones that have stagnated or dropped below 50%.

It's not that one account is "cursed," in my opinion; it's that the more games you play on the account, the more messed up its MMR gets. That is why once you get to the 50% winrate area or you start gaining/losing the same LP per win/loss, just start a new account. It is easier to climb in ranked on a fresh account that season than to try and get your main up to that rank with a 50% winrate. I kind of suspect that yearly resets contribute to this as well.
I'm talking out of my ass of course, I have no proof for this. It's just my suspicion/theory.

WashyMoney1 votesVery clearly this. You will focus more on teams mistakes and lose conditions if you have some preconceived notion that your account is cursed. Especially if you get a couple games with actual trolls, it will “confirm” your theory and you will probably ignore all evidence against it.

I'm not saying your view make trolls spawn on your main, I'm saying there are trolls everywhere and you just don't notice them on your smurfs. Because you don't really care and you're not stressed.

My "Smurf" account is in the same Rank as my main. It just gets WAY better Matching. Soon it will be my main because it will have climb higher.

It can be because there is actually different matching, or it can be because of bias. That's not an insult, we are all biased, it's just how our brains function. But pardon me, I think it's much more likely your impression comes from bias than from the system actually having different matching systems. One homogeneous matchmaking is already hard enough to do. Having various algorithms working in parallel sounds awfully impractical, and for what gain? Why would Riot bother to do that?
