Blocking summoners with little/no experience with a champ playing that champ in ranked games

So i just finished a ranked game that i lost due to a Brand that fed his laner. Now i understand that everyone has bad games sometimes and im far from being a top player, but when me and others members of my team asked him to play safe he responded; "NOT MY FAULT I NEED TO LEARN HIM".

To stop this happening in general, I think riot should use the champion mastery system to block people with a master level below 3 from playing ranked games with said champ.

This is my first post so if I have missed anything or a post along the same lines already exists please ignore :D

Thanks

You should only be able to unlock a champ for play in Ranked from your pool after ten games in Normals.

Those who said 'No' on the pole, could you say why in the comments please?

This is just arbitrary.

Who is to say how long before you know a champ good enough for ranked.

Not to mention some champs take longer to learn and some are braindead easy.

Not to mention people play champs for a while and still suck with them.

Not to mention people sometimes suck in general.

Bad idea.

But surely it will do something to hinder players taking champs into ranked games for practice.

I'm not saying that by a certain level you'll be good with a champ but having a decent idea of the do's and don'ts cant hurt.

I have mastery 5 with Ekko and I'm terribad with him. Don't think your system works in such cases.

I'm sure that in most cases you could play Ekko better than someone who has just bought him.

At least in lower Elos you could.
