Kog'Maw's late game is terrible, worse than pre-rework.

Kog'Maw's late game has actually become pretty bad with the new changes.

The first reason is that Kog'Maw loses his ability to kite when he uses his W. This means he can't constantly reposition himself during teamfights as other Marksmen do. Also, during the lategame, teamfights are faster so he doesn't have as much time to stack item 3124 .

Secondly, on-hit effects suck. Building on-hit on an ADC, even with double attack speed, is terrible because these on-hit items are terrible for ADCs. Marksmen get their damage from high AD and crit, not pure attack speed.

His total reliance on item 3124 and weak affinity to AD and crit items makes KogMaw a carry that has a poor early game, spikes rapidly during midgame due to item 3124 , still retains some power with item 3085, then slowly falls off as players complete more items in their build.

And this is exactly what we see from his win-rate curve.

Awful early. Spikes mid once Rageblade and one other OnHit item is done, and then drops off hard late.

Before his W had its AD ratio removed, he scaled quite well into late game.

Why don't they just make it so that with his W active he gets two Auto's per AA, which can scale up to 3 or 4 in the late game so he can still kite without losing out on damage instead of this stupid gattling turret thing that just screws him over more than it helps his team?

Have you tried building him Hybrid? When I play Kog'Maw, I usually only get better as the game goes on and he seems to shred anything he can hit when your allies can stay in the frontline.

item 3124 item 3085 item 3146 item 3115 item 3006 And a situation Item usually gets me rolling. Grab the Fervor and magic pen from the Ferocity tree to give your active W some more smack.

I'm still experimenting with late game builds but I have noticed a depreciation in power after a bit. Games don't always make it to late game so it's fairly hard to test this stuff out.

His late game isn't bad and I wouldn't get rage blade unless your doing asap or a hybrid build. Botrk is better and Lord something .

Not the power curve is the problem. They destroyed him completely with this rework. Pre-rework he was fun to play, strong or at least viable, balanced and healthy. Currently he is garbage and boring. He can get buffed in the future and maybe become broken but he will be still boring and will be nerver balanced again like he was. They touched something what was nearly perfect. This rework is one of the biggest fail riot ever made. We should make a petition to revert this shit because right now it's unplayable and i want to play him again. The best thing about this rework RiotRepertoir (he was responsible for it) completely disappeared from the boards after this rework. Worst game balancing i have ever seen.
