Just hit level 20, what runes should I buy?

I don't know if this makes a difference, but the champs I play are Wukong, Trundle, Veigar, Gangplank, Darius and Cho Gath.

To anyone who's seen this post before, I originally put it in help and support, but it was removed because it's supposed to go under Gameplay.

Dear lord baby jesus do not buy runes until 30. (unless you can buy tier 3 runes at 20; which I'm not sure you can, if you can, go for what they said above.)

Attack damage marks are most universal. Hyper essential to ad champs and at least useful for last hitting on ap champs.

Armor/Magic Resist seals and glyphs are also universally helpful and make early game easier. The next most popular yellows are scaling hp ones for later game value or ap matchups. The next most popular glyphs are cooldown reduction. Usually always helpful. You can probably wait on these more expensive runes for now.

If you didn't know, most of the basic runes ip prices were changed drastically to help new players spend less of their hard earned ip to buy runes and more to buy champions.

Need to have runes

-9 Flat AD Marks ( Red ) -9 Flat armor seals ( Yellow ) -3 Ability Power Quints -3 Atk speed Quints

Marks You really need the Flat AD marks, they help you cs and give you a vital boost to your autos earlier in the game. Take these on any AD champions. On the flip side, if you can afford it, Flat magic penetration marks are standard for mages.

Once you start getting more involved in the game and want to take on a support role. Consider flat armor marks for tanky supports like Braum.

Seals Flat armor seals is the way to go. I would recommend taking these until you feel like you can play well enough without the armor then for mages take 9 scaling health per level.

Glyphs Glyphs are the most versatile of runes, what I usually run on ad champions, is 6 scaling cd @ 18 and 3 flat MR. If you're a beginner and safety comes first, consider buying just 9 flat MR glyphs. Or you can mix and match some scaling MR and flat MR.

Quints For ad champions, atk speed is the meta and flat ability power for mages. Once you start picking up on some champs, movement speed quints is probably your next best unique quint.
