Last game I had deep sympathy for my opponent.. I'm in silver 4, so I could actually care less at this point of how games turn out. But the person that I was queued against at top last game was a joke for everyone on the enemy team.

This person was not trolling, this person was not inting, and I actually thought it might be a bot.

But no, league of legends placed this new player into a ranked game with a bunch of randoms. I have no problem with the way you play the game, if you are new or not. But riot why are you putting this new player into a match where the players at least understand how to play the game consistently?

Here's a series of what my enemy team had to deal with last game, and they could not prevent me from winning... https://pastebin.com/VxTmp1DH

I mean he chose to play ranked and you are at an elo where new accounts will be put as a way to determine where they should be.

Because every else who started ranked ALSO were placed vs players who knew what they were doing?

It's nigh impossible to insert a new player into a game with 'also new players' account age, # of games played on account, win rates, etc are not reliable metrics to determine what player is new what player is smurfing. It wouldn't be fair either to pit new players on fresh accounts to smurfs on fresh accounts. There's no way to determine who is newer than who.

To the new player, they'll take the loss and learn what they need to do to play better. You do no need to take pity on them for being new.

For existing players, as allies you can do what you can to help them be better.

You do not need to patronize them.
