She is so strong right now and if anyone can tell me a counter to her i would love to hear it but i played jax and even with a jv camping my lane to the point she was 2/6 she still continued to slaughter me in lane

ive only had consistent success fighting her with tryndamere and aatrox, taking warords on trynd and getting grasp on aatrox in my experience these were the only two where I could stand and fight her when she took my soul and actually take her poke without having to base every trade

Does Undying Grasp really help? It only heals for 3% of max health every 4 seconds....

on anyone other than aatrox and like nasus fuck no, but with their innate lifesteal it gives a huge bonus when you take the runic armor mastery and get spirit visage and titanic hydra

Titanic Aatrox? I dunno.... that an 4 seconds feels like a LOOOONG time to be in combat.

Basically you charge it up on minions before the fight, then you'll get off another proc during and if they dedicate any time to killing you in a teamfight with passive up its over since you'll just be getting back up and seeing as how you'll be qing onto the carry they cant just ignore you so the raw health helps a lot when you use titanic active in tandem with grasp and blood price w proc. You should give it a try if you're also getting bored of running thunderlords on every champion

Avoid her skillshots and if you get pulled either attack her immediately, or run. If you're Jax for instance, and she pulls your soul, just leap onto her, fake out her tentacle swings, and auto her, because her autos are worse than yours.

If you attack her immediately she has less time to attack your spirit and make you a vessel. If you run you automatically become a vessel. return to your turret, dodge the next tentacle you spawn and kill it. Do that two more times and you are no longer a vessel.

besides that, just remember she's strongest when she's ulting, so if you cant kill her just back off. Her tentacles cant follow you, and it's really hard to for her to chase someone to death.

I mean I agree to this...

But I still think she is lame and broken.

Just because she lands one skillshot I have to play a dance dance revolution minigame for the next 30 seconds.

And her damage is off the charts even with basically 0 AD.

Ranged is easier against Illaoi than Melee, since Ranged can clean out her tentacles easier.

Agreed, i countered picked with MF toplane against her and it shut her down completely. The enemy didn't know where to look with two fed ADC's. They'd stomp one and the other would be there stomping back. It was a fun game!
