I can't play jungle with this new patch

SO much broken shit just exist now because of the jungle changes. I used to be able to deny the enemy jungler exp by counter jungling them, but now when i fucking do that i fall behind 2 levels even if they don't invade me back because of the fucking skuttle. And even when i take the goddamn thing early game it doesn't matter because if they take it any time during mid game they just come right back up in terms of exp. The new jungle is godlike cancer and made it even easier for braindead champions just 1 shot you. I'd rather have the fucking TANKS back then fight another fucking graves, xin xhao, or udyr. I loved league of legends but after this jungle patch i might just jump on board and say it sucks and wish for its death just like everybody else.

The moment top laners become more influential in the game than the role that's literally supposed to give your teammates a lead is the moment that should be avoided at all costs.

I'm not saying top laners shouldn't have influence at all.

But jungle is LITERALLY the "influence" role and when other people become better at it, it sucks.

But when jungle has the highest impact for influence it pretty much always means that someone else doesn't get to have fun, whether it be top, ADC, or whatever. So who doesn't get to have fun, you tell me. What one role should not get to have fun for the sake of the others?

I'd say top lane (alternatively mid lane).

Jungle has to have high impact for aforementioned reason.

Support has to have high impact because not only is it the least played role already, but even fewer people would play it if it didn't have any impact at all. Besides, it wouldn't really feel like you're "a part of the team" if you don't have any impact.

ADC has to have high impact because you're supposed to be the "carry", right?

Now is where it's kind of divided.

Mid lane has to have some kind of impact because it's the only role that can roam both bot and top, and can reach both dragon and herald/baron.

Top lane... Doesn't really have a reason to be impactful. Yes they can pick up herald and yes they can push a lot but really that's it. Top lane is (in my opinion) supposed to be this "off-lane" where the player there is simply just an extra piece on the chess board. He's not supposed to be good at anything, he's just... there.

There lies the problem. What happens if top laners stop having fun? What stops top lane from being the old support where it's where you get auto filled and nobody wants to play it so they pick something goofy because they're in a low impact solo lane?

People are already playing goofy shit both top AND support so both roles must be equally "unfun" already.

The thing is, no matter what you do or what you change, there's always going to be a role that's more "fun" than the others.

Likewise, there will ALWAYS be a role that's more "unfun" than others.

That role will probably wind up becoming the "autofill role" like support ended up being.

Herein lies the flaw in your thinking.

You think jungler as a role should be defined as having priority over the fun stuff. That is not correct. The role of the jungler is merely to be the beneficiary of the jungle gold, nothing more nothing less. what you do with this other than that is wishful thinking.

In the same way, btw, that support is merely the guy with the low farm priority.

as for traditional lane roles? top lane's "lane role" is to provide "lane pressure" for the team to play with. Invading the enemy jungle is really is a very strong part of that.

but last seasons jungle has stamped out this role of top lane, to invade the enemy jugnle. and that's something i am happy to see back even as it is at heavy cost to the enjoyment of junglers.

If I say the same thing as Hash or whatever I wouldn't know, I'm an ADC player not a top laner. That said, I don't think it's wrong to say every lane and position should be fun, but as it stands one position is always suffering.
