The Bots Have Invaded ARAM

So now that TT has been officially removed from league, I just spotted multiple bots in ARAM. In fact, i had 3 bots in 2 games in a row. Anybody who played TT knows how to spot them. They dont talk, they almost always have ghost/heal in that order, and comet/dom for mastery. In the ARAM games i played they all went 0/13 - 0/20 depending on game length. They are feeding machines.

What is really sad is that riot says the reason they removed TT is because it was unpopular. Oh gee, i wonder why when you let it become infested with feeder bots. Well now that they are taking over ARAM i guess it is the next map to be unpopular and removed. Great logic Riot!

The bots are ONLY from Twisted Treeline. They were also (as someone has already pointed out) from the Co-op vs AI mode. The problem is that, now that Twisted Treeline is being removed (the one place the bots were practically being harbored), we're going to see a lot of them start to appear in the other game modes more frequently. It's funny, though, because it's really not like none of us saw this coming.

Because Riot shows just how incompetent they are yet again... "Hey guys, TT has been dropping in massive numbers over the years and we have a massive infestation of bots! lets remove it!"

yet nobody at Riot thought gee where would those bots go if we remove it? .....

I've been spamming some arams today since the removal of TT, and holy fuck, the bots are getting a little ridiculous. Before I would stumble across the rare bot on Aram, now I feel as though almost every game theres at least 1 bot.

I'd like them to infest SR Ranked mode. Riot would probably stop them then.

And thanks to Twisted Treeline being gone, I just had 2 bots in a vs ai game on SR. Of my last 5 or so games this morning on ARAM and a coop vs AI, I've had ONE game with 0 bots (excluding the AI of course).

I made a thread asking why they can't do a better job cracking down. More steps in account creation, assigning a few live humans to actually look into Botting reports, oh and a category for Botting reports so it can be a proper priority over some kinds whining that someone said mean words at them. Currently I'm in the negative on downvotes and the guy defending the laziness when it comes to actual exploitative behavior is in the positive. Big ol yikes on the community side of things.

Yeah that's how playing TT was and why I dropped it for ARAM. I mean we COULD just HAVE TT, ARAM, and Dominion as modes... so what if they weren't ultra popular. But apparently it is a huge expense or something to maintain.

I dont think they are adding ro-bots because of unpopularity... They are adding robots to eventually make the AI smarter then humans.

Ultimately I think there should be an option to play with robots because im pretty sure you get them in rank too.

I have done more then 6 500 arams(my fav map) and i had the feeling,that im playing with and agains't bots. I do believe,that LoL is slowly dying.... At least in europe for sure ! The mechanics of game has been messed up. I do not like new runes and they are the ones who destroying the game.U cannot calculate all the dmg,only crazy pros can do so.I have died multiple times from rune dms,because it jumped from minion on me. It wasn't possible 3-4 years ago ! Also new champs has all the craziest unique spells,mainly they are dash,invisibility,stun,shield/healback... Reworked akali at 12th minute can kill with 3 spellcasts and i do see this crap coming more into the game.U don't need to be fed to solo enemy with 3 spellcasts anymore.Evelyn with 24 kills at the same lvl can simply use ult and kill with 1 ult,just like that... That is sick and broken ! Yes she is fed,but 1 spell and dead? The game isn't so much about the player skill anymore and i think that's the reason,why ppl leaving the game....

I played some ARAM tonight and it's so bad. 2-3 bots on each team every match. Not gonna mess with the mode again until it's fixed and it'll probably just go the way of TT now.

To dispute a previous comment. I was level 165 when i saw these bots so the idea that only low level accts will play with bots in aram is false

Twisted Treeline and ARAM doesn't make Riot money. Only competitive Summoner's Rift, so they couldn't care less about anything else. What happened to TT is proof. They knew it was infested with feeder bots, and they let it happen, sat back and watched, so they could eventually scrap it. There is no world championship ARAM. So they don't care.
