The League of Legends?
Hey Riot, I know that y'all are trying to keep the playing field level as far as keeping counterplay a possibility for every champion, but sometimes I worry that, with League becoming more and more about the pro scene and less about the lore and the characters themselves that some of the champions are losing the personalities that we've grown to attach to their kits. Talon went from being this anti-mage assassin, who grew up with Cass and Katarina, and had a silence for mages like them to just another AD burster. Sona's become a musician who's music only lasts for a few seconds and that you can only hear from right next to her, et cetera... The last few champions seem to have been put to play before a good place for them in Runeterra was thought up, and I can't remember the last time the lore seemed to all fit together into a cohesive piece. I'm really not trying to whine, because as much as we all moan on the boards, we're all playing, we all love this game, and we all want to see League keep growing and evolving. I just don't want that to have to come at the expense of the characters that we all love.... and Teemo ;)
It takes a lot to make these changes and more to admit it when you might have gone to far (I didn't think 5.5 was that bad, but it didn't hit much of my champ pool so I can't really talk). Maybe in the future we can bring back more of the story element of League and start trying this Mad Hatter family of the Rift back into one big, crazy, pugnacious family again :)
TL:DR Came for the game, but the story's what kept me in. Don't throw that away :)
P.S. As far as Talon goes, if the silence doesn't come back, can we at least change the name of the ability to "Hamstring" or something? It's not my idea, but it sounded like a good one
