Normals MMR is never going to be accurate enough to be balanced for several reasons, get the fuck over it. For instance, if someone used to play Normals a lot back when they were Silver then quit playing normals and stuck strictly to ranked for about 2000 games, climbing to Diamond, then went back to Normals, their MMR is still going to be in Silver.

Now,, you might think, "Lets just link Ranked and Normals MMR." Well, that might sound like a good fix for low elo plebs like yourself, but that isn't fair for the higher elo players.

For instance, lets say I am a jungle main. I can play Jungle at a diamond level. I want to practice playing, lets say, Top lane. When I do this I will choose to do it in Normals ( Just kidding, I have a plat smurf I do this in, but for your case lets pretend I play normals ). If I want to practice a new role I don't want to do so against people in Diamond because it won't be fun and easy to learn.

Now you might say "Well derp derp you should be able to play any role at a diamond level." Well, kid ( Yes I'm still going to talk down to you because I don't like how you responded to me, so get over it), you were Plat 2 last season, but in normals you mostly play at a Silver level ( Boosted much? ) so that tells me you don't play ANY Roles at a Diamond level, why should I have to play them ALL at that level?

Now is it fair if the Diamond+ player plays his main role/champions in normals? No, probably not. Is it fair that the Diamond+ player should have to play against other Diamond+ when playing a new role that they are practicing in normals? No.

So, simply, there is no fix to it that doesns't fuck someone else over. Stop looking at it from just your perspective and realize that fixing this with 1 solution just fucks over the other people. Also,, you state that the Diamond player hjas 72 ranked matches and over 2k normal matches - you should also note that the majority of the time when that player plays normals he doesn't play his comfort picks. You happend to be in a game where he did, so unluckily for you, you got absolutely shit on by a diamond. Which BTW,, he is Diamond 5 and you were Plat 2 39 LP last season. Plat 2 and Diamond 5 aren't that far enough away to justify that something is broken, unless of course, you are admitting you got boosted last season, which is honestly what I think happend since your stats make you look like you play at the mid to high Silver level, which makes sense with your rank from S4, being Silver 5.

except que times arent fixed and match making is total trash , is it that hard to find a s3 player , the same bunch of players distributed differently can make a fair game on paper, assume they had the silver 3 player on our team for a mid laner and we got the diamond the thing would look like s3 s1 g5 g5 p2 g5 g5 g3 d2 unranked switch around the top laners too it would look like s3 s1 g5 g3 p2 g5 g5 g5 d2 unranked which looks 10 times more fair than your suggestion you guys who make up excuses for riot for sucking , i dont respect you guys at all , something is clearly broken and needs to be fixed and youre coming up with excuses that dont work in anyones favor , they just keep the game in its bad state , it should be improving they have employees working on this .

I posted an example like you a couple weeks ago and it fell on deaf ears as is typical. You are right. You have one team stacked and the other team with trash. Why don't it even the teams out. That is what some idiot at RIOT created and we have to deal with it and it sucks that the creator of this horseshit matchmaking system don't have any common sense.

as you can see the diamond player has 72 ranked matches and around 2 k normal matches , you need to learn to look before acting like you know stuff :P .

he could have played normals for a long time without gaining a lot of mmr, then almost entirely switched to ranked where he learned to climb and got better.

i dont actually know exactly how their matchmaking system works, but with normals its always the thing that no one really gives a shit.
