Shall Yorick be Reworked, Tweaked or left untouched?

We know the oficial statement is that a rework will be implemented, but i'm not really sure if that's the best way to go.

I personally like Yorick as is.

Please add the reasoing behind your selection. Thanks!

I say rework. Yorick isn't executing his fantasy all that well. Sure, he is perfectly viable and maybe even fun in certain situations, but, as the League's only Necromancer, temporary 5 second minions that can 50% of the time be ignored is not the best execution.

Seeing as he's cancer in lane...rework.

This is just a bold faced lie, he's not been cancer in lane since S3. Now days he's just annoying in lane if that.

I don't even understand Riot's rework schedule at this point. It makes no sense to me why they'd rework Shen and Fiora (two champions who did not have bad character models and were at least playable) and still leave Yorick, Urgot and Taric in the dust.

Time. They can work out a Shen rework in a month, maybe two. Yorick, Urgot, and Taric all require much larger changes and more time to rework. Plus, spending all your time on one big project is not all that efficient since that leaves all the smaller problems to pile up.

I did actually play Yorick the other day and he is insanely fun and actually has potential to be strong pre-6, I think what he's lacking is an execute. His damage takes far too long to ramp up in its current iteration, and by the time the enemy is low they're often already escaping. An execute (which fits very well thematically with him) would definitely help him along, maybe with a few other number tweaks.

Precisely, to me is a matter of two problems.

1- He cant finish the work. something is missing that he have difficulties finishing his foes late game. They simply flee.

2- VERY FEW people understands the potential of Yoricks ultimate. I cant tell how many time people run from battle after resurcting for the scarce 10 seconds.

RIOT, dont break Yorik!

I understand the potential of his ultimate, but with his clunky auto attacks, short range and his itemization, he just doesn't have the tools necessary for that ult to really work for him outside of some very specific situations.

True, is VERY item dependent. Forget to attempt to play it without a Tear of the Goddess.

I play Yorick without Tear all the time, just get flat mana Glyphs and take the 1.5% mana regen mastery.

I'd prefer a rework, but I really do not want them to mess him up, so I'm a bit skeptical to be honest.
