We are a silver 5 ranked team, not on a winstreak, 16-14 in ranked, going vs a gold 3 team, of a diamond 4 and 4 other platinum level players, why is this fair matchmaking

Ah... the ol' "let's lolnexus the match to see how good the enemy team is" routine.
I'd suggest not looking at that. We all already know there are issues with matchmaking, so proving it further doesn't do you any good.
I would suggest focusing on how you can get better, and just assume everyone is equal skill to yourself until they prove you otherwise.
If they're playing stupid aggressive and harassing you constantly, just farm under your turret (like the pros do). If their champion has a better laning phase than you, just farm as safely as humanly possible, up to and including farming under your tower.
Each champion/team comp has it's power spikes. Learn yours, and play around that (as far as aggression goes). Learn the enemy team's power spikes, and play around those as well.
It doesn't matter what solo queue rank you or the enemy team is, if you understand the team compositions, play around them, and have better communication, you CAN win the match.
All looking at LoLnexus will do in these situations, is give you a feeling of dread going into the game and, very likely, make you play worse.
Just my thoughts on it, but I noticed that when I stopped using LoLNexus before my ranked games, I started playing a lot better because I wasn't playing stupid when against someone lower than me (that should have made my lane a fecal stomp) and I didn't play RETARDED scared the ENTIRE game when my lane opponent was a LOT higher than me in the ladder.

Team MMR has literally nothing to do with Solo Queue MMR. It's all about your MMR from being on a ranked 5's team. Which, if you looked right at your own screenshot, you can clearly see that your team's MMR Is right in line with the MMR of the team you played. There is nothing wrong with the matchmaking in your specific case here.
