No IP or XP earned if you are too good at ARAM

SLayerOfNOOB··1 votes·1,106 views

As per title, just won a game of ARAM - started through standard matchmaking - and didn't get any IP because we won in 6 minutes 30 seconds. A message popped up saying you won't get IP/XP for a variety of reasons, including if the game is under 7 minutes long.

Firstly, how long how it been like this? Second, why punish people for winning quickly?

You dont win in that time cause your are "too good" you most likely just got a total superior team setup and could steamroll the enemy team.

it's impossible to win in under 7 minutes unless the enemy team gamethrew. By all means, provide a video to prove me wrong.

They didn't throw intentionally. They tried to bait us into attacking an 'afk' riven right at the start and ending up getting 2 killed for nothing, then they died a few more times and a few of them ragequit after we aced them at like level 4.

ragequitting is a gamethrow

wow, I didn't think any ARAM game could be that short. You would have to completely Steam role. (and have the perfect turret taking comp.)

I had this problem once, but it was in a game of dominion. Where the enemy managed to get all 5 capture points for pretty much the duration of the game.

vastly better comp vs multiple afks
