Manamune Varus

My personal thoughts on this probably 90% pick rate mid champ now. Early game: Harass out the ass. Mid game: Manamunes done, you're dead. Late game: Pre-Rework Nidalee 2.0

Varus as an adc is fine, but when you bring him to mid lane, with a root for assassins, and unbearably strong poke against any meta mage, its a little bit ridiculous. He can harass you just as far, if not farther than xerath can with his Q, which might I mention, seems to be stronger than xeraths Q. He can still do damage with his autos, so if you get in his face, he can still beat the crap out of you. Think, oh wait, ill just play a burst assassin? Ha. Good luck. Anyone with decent reaction time on Varus will immediately root you, auto 3 times Q and youre dead. No chance. The champion is ridiculous with Manamune. His Q was strong enough without that item becoming meta on him, especially in the mid lane. Not to mention the cooldown on it mid game being around 4 seconds. If you have any disadvantage in lane toward mid game, you can kiss farm goodbye. Might as well go trio lane with bot or something. Pretty sure its a good sign that he's overpowered right now when you play a couple arams and you see people talking about using all the teams rerolls to get him. Played 5 arams, every single one, Manamune Varus. (This is just a side note, the post is about SR). Anyone else agree that Varus mid is a little overpowered with the Manamune pick?

TO BE CLEAR: MID MANAMUNE VARUS OP. MID VARUS IS FINE. ADC VARUS IS FINE. The manamune pick in the usually squishy mid lane is just a little overbearing.
