Aphelios

I think aphelios needs a buff cause he got too many uneccessary nerfs, either give him new abilities or just take him off of the game. People say aphelios is op but anyone can be op if they are fed, people complain too much instead of learning how to counter. His ultimate right now in patch 10.4 has little range which is stupid for his sniper rifle (Calibrum) like do the math a sniper rifle is supposed to have long range, and he feels less powerful compared to other champions in late game. I tried out aphelios in this patch and he doesnt do much in bot lane. His difficulty right now is more than three because he needs a good support or someone to help him get a kill or clear minions. His mana pool is too little for a character with five weapons. So lets compare Aphelios to other bot lane champions, jhin has immense range with no falloff penalty and can root people at a distance if caught in his trap, and caitlynn has too much range and damage at the start of the game so the attack speed buff was very uneccessary in the patch. Aphelios at the start of the game doesnt even have an ability so it is easy to kill him yet people still complain that he deals too much damage.Lets take a look at master yi a level one difficulty champion that just spam Q his way into teamfight and deals incredible amount of damage. I think Riot doesnt pay attention to how overpowered starter champions are in league, i wish you would make them easy to kill or not make them invincible while they are damaging you. Anyway i think aphelios needs a small buff or rework.

His ultimate right now in patch 10.4 has little range

1k+ range for a spell that can do that much damage and potentially root everyone is not "little"

do the math a sniper rifle is supposed to have long range

And Nami should oneshot Brand, logic in the videogame etc

I tried out aphelios in this patch and he doesnt do much in bot lane

A high skill champion is not supposed to do well in first game. Or tenth.

jhin has immense range with no falloff penalty and can root people at a distance if caught in his trap

Aphelios can also root people at a distance if caught in his trap turret AA/ult. Except that he can't miss it and it can root multiple enemies He is hard to learn, but he has too much "fail-proof" mechanics. Severum ignores minions if there is a champion, Calibrum marks can be applied with targeted abilities, Gravitum is just OP by itself

Aphelios is strong early game, strong mid game, and strong late game. His unnecessary nerfs didn't impact him greatly. Buffing him now would be ridiculous.

Aphelios is a difficult champion. His damage output is disgusting, but you need to manage your ammo AND mana AND know your guns inside and out to make the best use of him.

Yes this is exactly why the removal of vote sort was a mistake. On topic: 60% Banrate in Master+. Indeed those dumbos in the highest tiers of play need to shut up and learn how to play, preferably from you.

aphelios is probably gonna be one of those champs that sits around 47-48% winrate in soloq if you want him to be as close to balanced both there and in pro play. He's still pretty strong, i wouldn't even be surprised if they nerfed him more in the future. (we'll have to wait and see how pros draft and play in 10.4 i guess)
