Make it like on the hunt. Whoever wins glows brighter and the other gets darker.

I had an idea that when Diana wins, the rift darkens and the moon rises, giving her a little buff, that buffs all or specific stats.

And when Leona wins, the rift brightens and the sun shines brighter giving you a summery kinda feeling, including a same kind of buff as diana gets.

You could do something for Diana where she has to kill Leona a certain amount of times to get a buff. For Leona you can do something where she has to get a certain amount of assisted kills on Diana for a similar buff in her respective role.

True, Midlaner vs Support is not very fair, but with all other quests (The Hunt, Battle for Freljord) getting an assist let's you win the quests, so I don't think that should be a problem.

What could be a problem is that when diana starts roaming, she can easily pick up a lot of kills, causing her to have a bigger win chance on the quest. However, Leona in the late game is extremely tanky, and with the help of her team, Diana gets bursted in no-time.
