Have a key, can't open a chest.

Feeling stupid here, but I just got three fragments and made a key, and I see the key in my hextech loot table, but I can't figure out how to use the key to unlock a chest. When I click on the chest icon, I just get the hextech store and the option to buy hextech stuff.

you have to have a chest available and get an s in a game on a champ(one chest per champ each season.) so if you don't have any chests in your loot where your keys are, that would be the issue.
