Keep the Trinity Force, but make a new item that is going to give stats from 6.11 PBE Trinity Force.

With the changes to Tri Force on PBE i feel like champs like Gangplank and Yasuo are hit a bit too hard since this item was core for them (specialy cause it gives them crit chance). Making the new item that builds out of Stinger and keeping the Tri Force that builds out of Zeal would make everyone happy. What do you guys think about this?

It benefits alot more champs than it hurts. Unlike the preseason changes where Jax, Irelia, Udyr, Volibear and many more bruisers got a huge hit to one of their best items this Triforce change only hurts 2 champions. Yasuo never made use of all the stats anyway and GP is still fine going IBG/ER.

what this thread really should say is bring zephyr back. no reason to remove that item.

As a Gangplank player I very much agree. At least give us the option instead of forcing people who use Gangplank to change their play style or be forced to deal less damage. Gangplank is going to have to be a lot more auto attack oriented which is awkward for his kit of poke and kite the enemy, if he had the old E of Raise Morale it wouldn't be as bad, but losing out on that crit forces him to build it somewhere else or deal significantly less damage. If anything add another crit item that doesn't have attack speed because essence reaver and infinity edge are the only attractive crit items for GP after Trinity Force.

It would be nice if they made a new item just so GP and Corki could keep the item that is made perfectly for them, and yasuop keep his bruiser build. However that isnt really riot item design philosophy, they like items being better and worse for others. TF will now kick ass on most champs, but feel wonky on GP and probably corki also.

I imagine this will open up some room to add a bit of power back to GP after a few months, as he will certainly no longer be a popular pick after losing this much synergy in his item path

The current Trinity Force is all of the things wrong with Yasuo and GP.

Once its gone, they have room for buffs if they prove to be weak.

I'm glad this is happening.

So you're saying keep the item that builds out of Sheen, Phage, and an AS item. Then make a second item that builds out of Sheen, Phage, and a different AS item.

I really don't think it will change that much, and this is what the majority of the community has been asking for with this item since they gave it more crit.

I have played both of these champions, I've played GP a lot on a smurf, and I play Yasuo in normals a lot with friends. It will change build paths, but in reality, the current Tri Force wasn't made for the champions you listed. It was actually changed so more ADC's would take the item. Since that isn't happening, it has to be changed. I also kind of doubt that Gangplank or yasuo will be hit that hard from this. GP can use CDR a lot, and there are plenty of other crit items out there. I also kind of disagree with Triforce, Essence Reaver, and IE being the only attractive Crit items for him. People believe that he doesn't auto attack in teamfights but to most effectively use his passive I attack with him all the time.

In all, people are overreacting to this. Most of the Yasuo's I see build Stattik-PD into damage items anyways, and most GP's are mid lane because top has turned into the tankfiesta, so he needs to be more glass cannon anways. I really don't think it will effect them as much as people believe it will. It helps the champions that originally synergized with Triforce anways, because most of them didn't need the crit in any way shape or form.
