Ekko Stun+Shield Kinda OP

Let me use this as an example, most champion who have stun go for 1 second than scale to 1.50-1.75. Now Ekko start with 2.25 RIGHT OFF THE START, within those 2.25 second he can cast all his skill get his hits in walk out easy like a boss. Now he make Jax look childish IF he the grand master at arm than he need to relinquish that title to Ekko. Stunning your enemy at close range beating them up for 2+ second is a dream come true.

Imagine another melee champ for that 2 second you be 0 to 100 really fast.

A melee champ with a range poke that have a 2.25 second stun at the start is OP. On top of it he get a SHIELD. This lil kid is no joke, he can beat you up and have the shield block the minion attack and go for the kill. His lane phase is to strong leaving other champion to return back to town to heal up. Taking 2.2+ second of dmg, No way people can trade hits unless you can RANGE POKE him if he kite no way for you to do anything because of his passive. When he level 6 and you getting mad and YOU FLASH in to try all in GUESS WHAT HOMIES he ULT cancel that ALL IN PLAY.

Playing with and playing against him make me realize this lil kid EKKO is a dominate champ. It fun when you use it on someone and when someone use it on you it not funny anymore. Imagine him using ACTIVE ITEM within those 2+ second WOOOOOO GAME OVER WHO THEY WANT NOW EKKO.

Remember this PEOPLE CANT SEE IT unless the last 0.5, It easy to pull off vs VEIGAR. most of the time as EKKO you are near your enemy, and if he trying to farm YOU CAN PULL IT OFF WITH FLYING COLOR. You can set it up PRETEND YOUR CS FARMING than trick him and he caught in the web. The reason why it take 3 second It for Ekko to get in range WHEN HE OUT OF RANGE. IF Ekko already in range IT MORE DMG since he close by. NO NEED TO TRY HARD he can flash in or take two step up. Now you got a whole 2 second to burst down your enemy and walk away clean.

Example If Udyr/riven come and stun you, yeah you can trade hits easy right. now If Udyr/Riven have 2 + second stun, YOU BE LIKE OMG it 0 to 100

the delay on the stun is super long. to only way to hit it if they are cc inside his w or they decide to stay in his w. its balanced for what it takes to pull it of.

Yea it's a 2.25 second stun at level 1

But it takes more effort to hit than Veigar's W

Except it's about 1000 range across.

It is, but its telegraphed 3 seconds in advance, You see his time-clone thing throw it 3 seconds before it activates. Doesn't really matter where it lands if he can't safely follow up on it..

Whenever you see him throw it out, just walk towards your tower (you shouldn't be so far from it anyway that you can't reach it in 3 seconds, otherwise you're overextended).

Odds are, he won't be able to safely tower dive you to follow up on it (because it not only puts him right under your tower, taking fire from it; but also leaves him wide open to being ganked, or CC'd under tower if you happen to survive the duration of the stun)

Its significantly stronger in actual teamfights, but I find it underwhelming in lane (which wouldn't be too bad, if alot of assassins didn't become make or break in lane).

Well, considering you won't notice the W if he places it well half the time, you actually only get about 1-1.5 seconds to actually know where he's putting it, the other two seconds is just windup in the back.

Something that gets me with that combo, is that the shield only seems to last as long as the stun. So it's not real useful against the stunned enemies, Only against the enemies outside of the stun range. Also Because it takes him 3 seconds to set up. He really can't do it on the fly, Still making him Vulnerable to engage.

I'm pretty sure that your Q is your primary poke and wave clear ability, why are you taking W at level 1?
