Not a fan of making one more mode ALL RANDOM.
URF i understood, even Howling Abyss i supported.
But if the mere act of "making it fairer" requires that your choice of champions be taken away and randomized for the sake of "balance" in the form of unintentional champion constructive/destructive interference, then there's no point in even having NB become permanent if the only ones were i can pick my champion freely are Summoner's Rift or Twisted Treeline.
Nexus Blitz wouldn't offer much difference from other AR modes at that point, in my opinion.
##"Pick for enemy"
I also don't see happening because then, instead of banning best picks and picking from a remainder, we'd be banning WORST and picking from the second worst to force swap with the enemy. Then it would be a battle of who could make the shittiest team for solo/synergy and letting those teams play out a 15 minute game at best. Not fun, if you ask me.
##"Chunks of champ pool not available per day"
Forced champ rotation or "bigger ban hammer" mode, if i'm honest.
Missions wouldn't work properly if they required a specific champion being played and they unavailable in that mode.
##Both agree and disagree on the Herald.
Was able to come back from a few losses by winning a crucial fight and securing Herald for the final push but it also can feel suffocating if the enemy that's already winning takes it and pushes to end anyway. But at that point, the enemy is also likely "On Fire" so not a lot can be do in such a situation but to end the game and move on to the next.
Yea, it sucks to lose that way but it's not the end of the world.
##On Fire buff
Disable it from arena modes or at least limit to one person.
What's even more frustrating is if a few enemies have it and than there's no way to win a skirmish - ESPECIALLY IN 2-2-1 fights. There are some champions that are far too abusive with the buff and certain ARENA modes are leaning way to the side who has the most of these buffs and on which people.
Possible solution:
Just have the buff be tied to the more recent kill streak, which means that if the previous killer was inactive and didn't seek out kills, the buff will fade away after a certain time period (around 90 seconds) or move to some other teammate who's second on this recent kill streak. Or have on fire buff move from the "best to worst" teammate on cycle of around 90 seconds, which gives every teammate an equal opportunity to experience high points of high octane performance.
Multiple On Fire buffs on the same team feels like multiple Ascension buffs.
You can't fight that, you just die.
