I continue to play Normals with friends and i never want to play ranked, but I'm kind of debating it because i don't think this kind of stuff would happen.
I never knew this could happen. If this has happened to you then you feel my pain. I would like an explanation.

So basically your normal mode mmr is completely separate from your ranked elo. Your teams mmr is averaged when you que up as 5. So most likely that game you're showing is after a hot streak of wins when your team average mmr sky rockets. Not to mention a lot of ranked people rarely play normals so their mmr is much much lower than their elo.
The system tries to keep both teams average mmr within 100-150 points apart.
No need to worry man if you keep playing with the same group your mmr will stabilize and you should get pretty even matches.
