My problem with Kindred

I think Kindred looks super neat but a couple of issues are immediately coming to mind.

  1. As a jungler/marksman/maybe even support? i think it may be hard for this champ to find a definite role

  2. With the tank jungle meta as popular as it is right now, how well will a marksman jungler fit into the game? Will he be used in pro play?

  3. I know its cliche, but atm he just looks fairly OP

Just my opinion. What are your thoughts?

With terrible scaling on damage, I doubt this champion will see much laning play. Except if the W passive sustain is high enough. With no scaling on heal, and no basic spell utility I doubt that this champion will ever be a support. (Except for maybe Kalista or Twitch)

Jungle inherently offers less gold than lane which makes ganking a real need, a slow is very weak vs a ganking kit. Pro play is all about teamplay, and a champion that only offers a single slow with (I predict) moderately poor ganks will not be used in pro play.

Currently the champion is not OP, rather OP when stacked and useless when not. Extremely feast or famine design: Getting 10 stacks with BoRK by midgame is feasible, this results in 8 +12.5(lamb) +12.5*.4(wolf) =25.5% current health on hit, you can see how OP this would be with live Sated, and how it is very strong even with nerfed Sated. Conversely if against an intelligent team you might get no stacks from ganking, and no stacks from poaching. This results in a champion with bad damage and low range. I cannot say all of the possible uses for a Kindred ult, but one of them is downing a tower for absolutely free unless the other team has a Kalista, Twitch or Bard.
