Dear Riot,
Please revert back to the old Sion. This new version is a far cry from what his lore portrays him to be and he is already an irrelevant champ. Old Sion could be counted on to soak up damage as well as give it out. New Sion bloz deformed, monkey raping goats in hell!!!!

If we remake him as one or the other, it'll piss off part of his fanbase. So instead, let's remake him as a Tank with only one of his skill sort-of intact and piss all his fanbase off!
Frikgeek3 votesMaybe because both of his playstyles were pissing everyone else off when they worked, and his fanbase when they didn't. They were easy to counter but extremely strong against the right composition, especially the super-lifesteal one.

Then release a new champion in the same patch, a Mage that has elements of Sion's old castery kit. In this fashion, both sides of Sion's fanbase would get something that feels familiar to them instead of getting a single new champion that completely alienates both.

melee adcs do not usually go over too well as they are either extremely overbearing or underwhelming see:

Lordk0z2 votesTrue, Old Sion was a auto-attack oriented fighter (when not played AP) with plenty of durability and lifesteal. New Sion is more of an extremely tanky AD Caster that zones and disables.
Old sion needs a rework that keeps HOW he plays, but I don't want new sion to be removed.

But Old Sion should totally exist as an AD champ again. Kill the AP scalings on his Q and make it an utility skillshot, switch the new W over, and come up with something else for his E... maybe a movespeed steroid/leap.

. Sion has the same "Fang" pattern as Garrosh (even if it's artificial) the same face, the same clothing "Bulky object on left shoulder, bare chest and arms, dark pants". Sion's Decimating Smash even has the same animation as the Orc 2-handed "Special Attack" (go into WoWhead's model viewer, find a male orc and look for "2H Special" or something like that).
