Mistake me if I'm wrong, but everything looks the exact same in preseason. I am still ranking up. I am still gaining points. Why do I see many people saying this is all for nothing? Does it affect MMR at ALL? If not, my main question is:
WHAT IS THE POINT OF RANKED IN PRESEASON?

you gain MMR for next season, and therefore better opponents that's all.
also youll get placed higher depending on how well you do now
Well most brain dead monkeys think it doesn't matter so play on your smurf or make one. Otherwise you coin flip for next season because of all the trolling people. You get mmr. it stays the same. You want to not lose in preseason it effects next season.
lets say u bronze before preseason but u used a booster and u hit plat in preseason
next season u have to do placements again, but ur MMR is now plat instead of bronze, so u are likely to have plat team mates vs plat enemies and you will get placed somewhere in Gold based on how good u did in ur placement games.
