hud has no love for ex dota players

So this new hud update is fine I really don't care too much, except for the positioning of the new tab. I have played dota 1 since the frozen throne came up and switched to dota 2, league of legends generously has an option to switch your hud to the dota format (biggest change is the mini map is in the bottom left instead of right) this causes the chat to be on the right, which means when you tab you can't see the right half of the tab, so the team on the right. There is always a lot of comments in competitive play, and using tab is so important. I feel as if there should be something done, just shift the tab to the left 4 inches? PLEASE it's killing me softly
