Instantly banned for playing Smite support Nunu for no reason (Not trolling)

So I guess Riot is still banning players for taking Smite on a support, even though Riot claims to not enforce a meta, they are banning accounts for not playing what is meta.

Stop playing mages and juggernauts bot lane. You will be banned. Stop playing ADC's mid or top. You will be banned. Stop playing anything that is not a Bruiser/Tank/Fighter top, Mage or assassin mid and ADC and enchanter support bot lane or you will be banned.

Apparently Riot is trying to make sure that the only way to play League is the way they say. So don't play anything that isn't meta or Riot will most likely ban you.

Well, ... your two most recent games with Nunu, you were 4/19/7 and 2/15/9

... Nunu's kit alone makes him pretty difficult to kill, and to die that many times in general is .... wow ..

But on top of that, you were going for full AP. ... I could see full AP Nunu being "squishier" than tank Nunu, .. but being as behind as you must have been, .. there is no way that would be any good.

I would imagine you must have seen that for yourself and someone that isn't inting / trolling would change their strategy at some point. ..

So I'm going to call bullsh*t on the notion that Riot banned you for picking Smite Support Nunu. In fact, I don't even that that would be a bad pick. He would have A LOT of objective control for his team, and Nunu isn't the worst support either.

The stats make it look like you were inting, and you were probably being toxic as well.

Riot does not instant ban unless you were

  1. Cheating
  2. So toxic/racist in chat even Trump would be offended.

Riot doesnt ban you for simply playing something.
