Unfair stat shards value

Stat Shards:

  • Row 1: 10 Adaptive (6 AD or 10 AP), 9% Attack Speed, 1-10% CDR (lvls 1-18).
  • Row 2: 10 Adaptive (6 AD or 10 AP), 5 Armor, 6 Magic Resist, (We’re debating adding a 4th here).
  • Row 3: 15-90 HP (lvls 1-18), 5 Armor, 6 Magic Resist

The point is simple, adaptative Shards they grant much more power than armor or magic resistance. The AD statistic is more expensive than the armor statistic.

In the row 2 there is no reason to keep defensive statistics, as you would be wasting a lot of gold on stats, even tanks would get adaptive damage with these values.

One solution could be that in row 2, the resistances (armor/mr) were by level, so there could be a reason to carry them, example armor 1-18 (1 per level).

I'd like to know your opinions on that.

You have to note that increases of armor even at a low level are highly cost effective, much more so than an equivalent amount of AD.

5-10 points of armor negates item 3134 entirely, for an effective additional 4-8% damage reduction. Meanwhile, 6-12 AD or 10-20 AP is only a tiny bit more damage on anyone but an ADC (who is more likely to go for the AS anyways), far less than reduced by armor.

The HP is a little bit too weak in late-game, but the armor and MR are fine.
