Ranked system seems a bit off

I had just finished my 10 promotional games, i was silver 3 last season, but i don't understand my rank rewarded, i get that i lost 4 games, but i won 6, 2 of which losses where due to intentional feeders, but that's besides the point. i got placed in bronze, after winning 6 game, i was silver 3 last season after winning 4 promos, this seems to be broken, i will be able to climb out to silver or gold because i know i can get there pretty easily, but i think this needs to be resolved for other players like myself, if possible can i get some insight as to why the ranked system seems to be so against players, 6 wins and 4 losses seems to me like it should be a increase in rank rather than decrease a whole league, Thanks for reading, please riot support fix the system or at-least message on here saying why it is like this.
