How do you get out of bronze?

I've been a bronze 2 for most of the time I've played league. I started playing league at the start of season 6, but I never played ranked much because I didn't think I was ready for it. When I actually started playing ranked was probably during the summer of 2016. Of course I sucked ass like a typical bronze scrub, but as I kept playing ranked, I got so much better. I main jungle and usually play OlafOlaf or WuKongMonkeyKing in ranked. Now, it really pisses me off whenever I can't get out of bronze because of how cancer it is. Bronzies don't listen to advices, start being toxic, troll, feed, etc. Of course I'm a bronze myself. I have been stuck here and wishing to get the hell out of here, but I can't. I know season 7 is starting soon, but I feel as if I'm going to still be stuck in bronze and will never make it out. The link is my profile on na.op.gg, if anyone wants to look at my match histories for feedback. Any tips and tricks for us bronzies on how to get out? [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Why CotC on Olaf? He has no hard CC to trigger the shield, right? Or am I being stupid?

idk how long its been since youve been in bronze but ive talked with a lot of high elo people who got out of bronze within the last season. its not that simple. low elo is the reason the league community gets a bad rep. its just so toxic

wukong can hard carry games. just split push and teamfight when fed. really just split pushing AND NOT DYING will get you out of bronze and into gold-plat.

again, the keyword here is to NOT DIE while splitting.

It's pretty hard to split push when you have to be with your team at all times because without myself there, the enemy team would easily destroy everyone.

that or the whole enemy team runs down bot where ur split pushing ur team is like "huh theyre stupid lets all recall" and ur trying to recall in time but their top laner pops a tp on a minion next to u and keeps you there even if that's by dying until the other 4 get there for the kill

wukong ult is very reliant on team follow up though, which u will almost never get in bronze

just pretend you dont have a team because a lot of times u actually dont. dont bother using chat except for once at the start of every game to do "/mute all". stick to solo carries like Olaf and other champs that take half a brain to play and dont rely on their team at all like MasterYi and Tryndamere . also ditch items that you might build to help your team because thats just a wasted slot. queing parties is good if you know the people you are playing with are any good. i would say dont mute them but mute everyone else because getting flamed just doesnt help anybody and bronze and silver rn are waaayyyyy too toxic...

laning isnt that great for getting out of bronze.. any lane takes away your fullest carry potential

Nasus is pretty challenging to play, I've had my ups and downs as Nasus. If the enemies are really good at making you not get stacks, them you're doomed, but I see you are a Playinum support in ranked. I've seen many people who support main in ranked who have high ranks. Maybe the way to get out of bronze is to become a support main?

Wh1teWu1f1 votes

No... People who are support mains in higher ranks can actually afford to do so because their teammates have an idea of what they're doing. Bronze players who have been there for a long amount of time either haven't played enough (probably your case), or lack the understanding of the fundamentals of the game. You do not want to support someone who has no idea what they're doing who thinks they know what they're doing...

Best thing I've found is to play a carry role that has a big impact by yourself.

For instance, I've been playing a lot of Brand support lately to account for my team not having AP champ or not having poke damage. Landing a few W's during lane phase can force the enemy ADC off the wave. Landing an EQW combo can chunk most champions, which can set up a kill for whoever is near by if they follow up on the stun. Most teamfights can be won just by hitting some enemies with an ability or two and then hitting ult.

All you really need is a Rylai's for a damage item and the rest can be supportive or offensive depending on what your team needs. Your team won't focus the threat, you can chunk them on your own. Enemy team focuses your ADC, you can stun and chunk them. Enemy team focuses you, gives your team an easier teamfight since crucial cooldowns are down killing the support.

Once you can figure out what champion you can do that with, you should be able to do a lot by yourself and help your team figure out how to win.
