Twisted fate / Gross Gore question?

I see Gross Gore take summoner 6 instead of summoner 14, What's the reason for this and is it better?? :)

Usually TF goes for 2 "defensive spells". Not always ghost. Often he will go flash heal, flash barrier, flash ghost, or flash TP depending on who is playing and what they are against. Ideally, the defensive start will let him neutralize the enemy carry, then he can begin snowballing side lanes with quick ports.

Depends on what you wanna do, if youre going to roam or escape, maybe.

Ignite just gives you a small amount of true damage and healing reduction on a single target.

Ghost provides HUGE mobility on a fairly short cooldown, allowing you to run from or chase multiple targets. Ignite just does a little bit of dmg to a single guy, ghost can potentially allow you to kill or run away from their whole team.

Plus movement speed is super key on TF, keep running and spamming cards.

So in short , its better to take?

All sums have their pros and cons.

Usually people take ignite to get an early lvl kill and snowball their lane. Since tf has lower kill pressure, he is investing in a late game summoner of ghost instead of early game ignite.

I take tp and flash . Flash for gold card and tp so I can use my ult and tp back into lane or if ult is down I can tp to another lane. Works for me.

The main point of twisted is delivering the stuncard, the damage should get provided by your teamates, your not meant to solokill unless fed. With ghost, you can easily run up for the gold card. Another big benefit is that it alows good positioning in teamfights as well as a great option to avoid ganks or all-ins in lane. Beeing squishy with no mobillity while 2 skills are tied to 525 range AAs, haveing an aditional mobillity summoner is rather important to stay save both in lane and in teamfights while still beeing able to deliver the goldcard on the right targets.

taking ignite into any non assassin and any immobile mage is nothing but stupid. i've plenty of times seen viktors and veigars take ghost. like wtf. you shouldn't even be in range to ignite someone to begin with. people are bad

damage is not always the best for you
