Where Vayne Stands.

So with more Tanky, bruiser type people showing up in the LCS and solo q ladders, and with the nerfs to IE, BT and several ADCs, where do we think Vayne stands currently? I enjoy playing her and I think she's a good pick right now, granted I'm S4 currently, but climbing.

Thoughts?

On her own, she's pretty good. I think the biggest obstacle to her popularity right now is the even greater popularity of aggressive marksmen like Graves and Jinx, as well as offensive supports like Thresh , Leona and Blitzcrank , but if you can survive the laning phase against those champions then you'll dominate the game. Careful, though: the popularity of tanks does make Vayne a better pick for damage, but it also means there's going to be a lot more hard crowd control in fights, and getting caught in a teamfight will get you deleted instantly. You're going to need to be extremely good at dodging enemy abilities and knowing when to dive if you want to get Vayne to her full potential in teamfights, more so than any other marksman, but she still has the tools to 1v5 pentakill in the right hands.

shes really bad right now, they need to add a atk speed increase when she ults so she can afford to build some ad

If you're good with her, she's decent.

She's still not very good.

Kog is a better pick if you want to shred a tank line. Jinx is also a good pick if you want a lot of safe damage and snowball potential. Sivir is still a good pick if you want a lot of teamfight damage and engage (especially if you have a big frontline of your own that likes to dive).

It takes too long for Vayne to get where she needs to be, like tristana. The pros are more interested in early - mid game power.

Why should you play Vayne of there's Jinx? O.o Jinx is the only ADC you need atm with Graves just beside her. Even if Graves is strong, he depends on his burst, so if your burst is not enough you are a sitting duck...Playing Jinx? Why not? You have inbuild AS of a phantom dancer in your Q, you have more range than Caitlyn when you toggle your Q, you have a CC, you have a Nidalee Spear in your kit which slows enemies :O, you have global ultimate that travels as fast as Ferrari Enzo and deals AOE damage and you have a passive that puts you on LSD combined with Extazy when you kill someone.

I think Vayne is reliable pick in SoloQ.

The reason Vayne isn't seen in the LCS scene is primarily due to her being inferior to other picks in many reasons. However, in SoloQ where teams don't have enough chemistry nor communication, Vayne is one of the few ADC that can survive well against assassins if mechanically played right.

The stealth provided by tumbling during Ult is very strong in juking. Her ability to Tumble and dodge almost every skill shot is incredibly useful. A good condemn allowed my to solo kill countless Zed, Yi, Fizz, Kat, Talon in my games. Her W proc for the % health is his bread and butter for her to shred enemy Tank line without any ArmPen Items.
