The tribunal is the only joke that is bigger than the current disciplinary system. Allowing prepubescent teens to decide the fate of someones account is not the answer. There were countless episodes of some child getting on the tribunal and spamming "Punish!" "Punish!" "Punish!" just to get their thimble-sized wee-wee hard. Karma is a bitch and I hope every single child who spammed punish on someone else's account gets hit by an 18 wheeler.
The only system that will work is Riot actually dropping a LITTLE BIT OF CASH and hiring a team of 12 or so individuals to manually review every single report case. They don't even have to pay them much, hey $25,000 a year roughly 12$/hr would not even touch the billions of dollars Riot Games is making. They just don't want to spend the money and are trying to get "muh PHD-Lyte" to do some piss poor written code to police people's behavior.
The truth is people want to stop being treated like children. Advise people to use the mute feature, if someone threatens to kill someone perma-ban them. Otherwise piss off.

What about only letting plat+ players decide?
