Can we please tone down Lee Sin?

sethwa2··82 votes·2,976 views

Reduce his base movement speed to 335.

Increase his Q cooldown to 13 seconds at all ranks (so missing it is actually impactful)

Remove the fucking ministuns from his ultimate (the one at the beginning and end of cast)

Reduce his ultimate's base damage to 150/250/350 from 200/400/600.

Lee Sin can anytime flash and use R on your ADC/APC and they are out of the fight

except the part where its on a five minute cooldown

Uhh. Flash-Kick is on a 5 minute cooldown... It uses Flash...

Dealth14 votes

People are too stupid to understand that so they downvote instead

........................ My bad, I though he meant just ultimate.

And where is the difference between Annie?

Narasimha3 votes

So can Annie or WW or Veigar or Poppy

Seriously, it's not even remotely limited to Lee Sin.

weeaboomer13 votes

Good luck with that.

I'm a bad player and I've gotten a quadrakill with Lee Sin the third day I got him... And I'm REALLY bad...

Remlap122315 votes

Don't mind me, just farming for upvotes.

Knoyle3 votes

Honestly, I hate Lee Sin with an undying passion but this really doesn't prove anything. I'm absolutely horrid with Twitch but if I'm laning against morons I'm going to get fed because at that point I'm not outplaying I'm just jumping at opportunities the mistakes my opponents are making give me.

Spoofghoul13 votes

The movespeed nerf is a good one. I would be fine with it if he had 340.

And if the ministun at the end of his ult got removed that would be really nice too, its super annoying.

I was under the impression that all knockbacks have a tiny stun. Am I wrong?

DeadlyStalker3 votes

Yes you are... Tristana dosn't have a stun, neither does Janna, Poppy, Alistar, Azir, Jayce , Gragas, or Gnar ( if you don't hit a wall you wont be stuned just knocked backed).

Tails Doll1 votes

They do if you hit a wall I believe. If you cant complete the travel distance because you hit a wall, you get stunned for the duration of travel time you didnt do.

As much as I dislike Lee, I don't think he is really that strong atm. Yes, he has mobility and damage early, but mid to late game tanks tank much better then he can and normally dish out either more damage or cc and if he were to go full ad other assassins will do that better.

Avios15 votes

Wether or not he is strong does not matter to me. I believe in Champion equality, diversity, etc. It doesn't matter if he has the highest or lowest winrate right now, his Pickrate is the one I'm personally looking at. When you have 30%+ pick rate, something's up.

Guy Fox Teemo4 votes

Something's up? Okie people find him fun to play....

Shiyo Kozuki2 votes

People find winning the most fun so they pick the strongest champs, not the most fun ones.

Guy Fox Teemo2 votes

Mmm no, lee sin doesn't win very often so that wouldn't be the case. Even in times when we was considerably weak, he still saw some of the highest play rates :l

I GANK LANES2 votes

he's fun to play and is one of the few champions that actually require some skill and strategy to be successful with...

Ulquiorra9951 votes

Step 1.) Learn to reliably land your only skillshot.

Congratulations! You just learned to play Lee at 85+ % of his efficiency. While his skill cap is very high, his skill floor is laughably low for the amount of damage and utility he brings to the table.

I GANK LANES1 votes

you have no games played on your account, stop

Ulquiorra9953 votes

A thousand times this. When in a game with 120+ characters one guy gets picked in more that 1/3 of all games we might have a problem there.

Meanwhile Sion is kept purposely under tuned because he "had his time in the spotlight, and now it is time for someone else for the sake of diversity" but Lee at 35% pick rate totally isn't impacting diversity in a negative way.

Cerebral Absence5 votes

Lee is just balanced. He is a god tier jungler in the right hands and nearly useless if played by an unskilled player. There are plenty things you have to be able to perform that aren't easy to do. Lee without wardjump + insec? Bad. Lee without knowledge of where to be at what time? Bad. Lee performing all the tricks as well as not missing skillshots - and counterjungling at the same time? Godlike.

Yep. Im just glad that the shitters of this forum dont balance the game cuz they would had ruined every high skill champion and every champ that does damage.

Its no coincedence that their best meta was when Cinderhulk came out. They loved the fact that they could fuck up and get outplayed a million times and still not get punished because they were playing unkillable tanks and everyone was farming till 50 minutes

Definitly agree. +1 ;)

It's harsh, but it's so goddamn true at the same time.

I'm pretty sure this is the weakest Lee has been since release. He's definitely not as strong as seasons 3-4 Lee Sin.

Remlap12235 votes

He was weaker during the Cinderhulk meta and before the buff to his ultimate. But yes, he's far weaker than he was in previous seasons.

I'm just glad they nerfed his W and removed the AS slow on cripple.

Lee Sin is far from op right now. If you miss your q with lee sin you can't do much at all in a fight. He is extremely reliant on it. His scaling is based off BONUS ad not just ad. So the only way to do heavy damage in a fight is build a decent amount of AD. In doing so, you become very squishy in a team fight, and by the time you q r q someone in a team fight the rest of their team will blow you up. Lee sin has great mobility, and great ganks, but other than that his damage is outclassed by many top laners.

yeah the base damage on his abilities are sooo low, 340 from closing in with Q and 600 on his ult... he needs so much AD from items to kill anything

im not sure if thats sarcastic or not but doing 940...a little more for the 2nd q missing hp is not going to kill anything late game. an adc can easily lifesteal through that if other allies dont follow up on that.

That's true, I forgot that adcs can auto attack with AS steroids and use lifesteal to last longer in a fight, things that Lee Sin can't do.

if lee sin is going to sit there and auto attack an adc for 900-1000 damage, that adc's team is going to jump on him. his auto attacks are much more dangerous for him then someone who can shoot from afar. not often in late game or mid game will he be able to sit there and auto an adc for free lol

You missed Q? no problem ,just ward jump+flash+ulti enemy adc or apc.Baam ,they have no carry anymore. Also you only need 2 dmg items thanks to his insane scaling (480% or something ) ,after that you can go full defense.

If you are doing all of this, why not delete him instead? Try picking one thing if you want to nerf him. If he is still absurd, then bring out the next nerf.

Play Lee Sin against the 'balanced' bruisers.

Find out how easily they wipe the floor with him.

Stop complaining about Lee Sin.

He should get nerfed in some way, but this is too much. Maybe just the movement speed nerf and removing the mini-stun.

How to nerf lee sin

MS lowered to 335 (he has multiple dashes and that's still decent MS)

Q CD increased by 5 seconds but using the secondary dash effect lowers its CD by 5 seconds (miss or hit wrong target to where you don't want to go in makes it a higher CD, otherwise it's a buff from better CDR effects when hitting your target)

W CD increased by 5 seconds if the shield is broken it reduces the CD by 5 seconds (similar to above effect with CDR but makes it weaker in escape)

R base damage reduced to 50/100/150 +2.0 total ad, causing the initial target to collide with an enemy champion causes him to take 50/100/150+1.0 total ad of the initial damage again and the target he collided with to be knocked up and take 100% of the initial damage

This buffs R to be 600 base damage and 6.0 total ad if you hit 4 other champions with your initial target

These changes are basically to make him stronger in skillful play, but one mistake is much more punishing due to longer CDs and lower base MS

It also prevents the ham assassination from an overtuned R which is only powerful when used right

Wild Wes1 votes

Anyone who says Lee is balanced has like 20 downvotes because they're probably Lee mains who don't want the champion with low skill with high damage to be changed.
