What's going on in league lately

I love the new draft pick interface, it's beautiful and it's clean. However it takes forever to actually start a match because people are dodging constantly. Now what's with this meta, i feel people are snowballing so easily and champs like , , , , are in every single game I play. It's becoming so boring and so annoying. I miss the days when you actually see the champs on the enemy loading screen and it's different, each match felt fresh and more fun. You introduced a shit ton of items yet everyone is still building all the same thing. If u die to the enemy fizz one time, well good bye laning phase and hello team flaming you. Not like you can do much when he just dodges everything anyways. Honestly, im just ranting because now a days it's impossible to play all the other champs if you're not following the main stream champs.
