Aurelion Sol rework feedback

You made changes to his Q. I said nothing. You made changes to his E. I said NOTHING. You made changes to his base stats. I. Said. N O T H I N G. Now we have w changes and I have something to say.

If the real issue was the "toxic" shoving, then a simple "damage to minion" nerf was enough (Ekko had a similar issue, and only saw a base damage nerf). Sol was one of the few sustained dps mages. Now he has weaker burst than real burst mages, and no longer has sustained dps. He was clearly nerfed, and feels clunky and underwhelming.

Did real people play and test this champ? Why do the stars (which can only be out for THREE SECONDS) not speed up for the entire duration? If that was too much at once, why not let them stay out for an extra second per rank and actually let us control our champ? Why was his ms essentially halved?

One big differentiation between good and bad sols was the ability to play aggressively. Considering how bloody difficult it was to play the space draco with his very specific constraints and glaring weakness, only having q as a means to get in range is nothing short of an oversight. Not only is it on a considerable cooldown early on, but it was and is best held to turn a fight.

Riot team has worked so closely with wukong mains, really making sure to do right by them (and overall it looks promising), but asol was simply removed from the game. I might have very well played my first main for the last time just a week ago.

Im sure my opinion, like others, will fall on deaf ears. Many of us would enjoy playing old sol with slightly reduced star damage to minions, but I dont have much hope in a halfway revert like Leblanc or Rengar. At the very least give us enough ms to not be outpaced by annie (who has more ms, more range, more mana, a mana return passive, and can actually burst).

Riot: "Let's make a champion who's ENTIRE DPS PATTERN IS BASED ON MOVEMENT and then forget about that and take out his move speed buffs to be able to position but then put them on his only way to self peel so if he wants to get in range to do DPS he has to blow his CC leaving him vulnerable to being engaged on"

But uhhh don't worry, the stars go kinda fast for a second and you can make a spirit bomb that everyone just steps out of the way of anyway if people stay in midlane for atleast 30 seconds while you make it!
