Any one know of situations where hers wouldn't slam? I recently have been playing and noticed when I "w" or ult they tend to spawn but don't actually slam in some cases. Maybe someone can give me a bit of insight into situations where they maybe don't trigger?

It depends on the target. If you hit something with your W, and its not within a certain radius of the tentacle, its attack range, they won't slam. If you summon them, and don't tag anyone with your W, they won't slam.
I think I figured it out. After some testing, obviously tentacles will auto slam on freshly pulled, so the cases where they werent slamming was because they do not auto slam after casting the ult!
You need to have a soul, or land a W to get them to.
As a side note, the tentacles decide they are being lazy if affected by something like blind, or if Jax and or pantheon block/dodge causes you to miss your W. The spell must do the damage associated with it!
When I created this thread I had played games against them and thats what was going on!
